Next up on my nugporn tour was Green Crop Co-op on El Cajon Blvd. The shop is tucked away behind a smoke shop and there's a parking lot with enough spaces for a bunch of patients. Check- in is easy and there's a security guard there to help guide you through the experience. Once you cross the hall into the budroom you're greeted by a pleasant aroma of meds. There's a menu board displaying the items available and the suggested donation price. The layout of the shop is pretty standard with medicine jars on top to sample and bigger jars in the cases below. They have some cool merchandise on sale too and I was going to grab a t-shirt but decided to wait for more sizes.

The staff at this fine establishment are tremendous. They're pretty knowledgeable with all things mmj, and really made me feel at home during my visit. I was given the rundown of the strains and pricing and was able to chat with the workers here for a minute. The owner made it a point to make sure he had some free time so he could adequately show me the shop. They can be busy at times so I thank you again for taking the time to make my experience that much better!!! Props to the whole gang at green crop you guys really run a nice collective.

Green crop has a grip of dank medicine at various price tiers. They cap at 60 I believe with a few private strains with higher donation prices. The meds. they carry are some of the best in daygo! I have a hard time paying 60 or more but the medicine here warrants the high price tag. They have a grip of dank ogs and some exotic sativas that I really enjoyed. I was shown a host of wonderful medication and here are some that caught my eye: brain og, fire og, sour d, devils lettuce, tropic thunder, hashberry, herojuana, the black label og, the king bubba, the bubba, etc... Basically the whole menu looked and smelled dank! Even the lower tier meds. were easy on the eyes and had some nose appeal. I was given a sick sample strain package that included the brain, hero, tropic thunder, devils lettuce, and the king bubba. I also purchased a few other samples to help round out my review. I grabbed the sour d, the bubba, and the fire og. All the medicine I was given was incredibly dank!

First up is the large nug of herojuana og I was given. This trichome masterpiece is my favorite of all the strains I was given to sample. There's some light and dark green hues that accompany a nice layer of frost. The nug is well trimmed and is pretty dense with a nice bounce back when squeezed. The smell is dank and seeps out when you pinch this exquisite flower. The flower is quite pungent with a spicy, citrusy, earthiness to it. There are hints of pine and some other smells similar to a strong og. This batch of medicine is killer and my only qualm is the price. I just can't see myself paying more than 55 for an 8er. The taste is there the instant you inhale and the spiciness of this flower is there upon exhale. The aftertaste is spicy and earthy with a sweet og finish. Great chest expansion with a nice long choke to follow. This is one of the better batches of the strain I've come across in S.D.

The next strain reviewed is the brain og. I had zombiemz, skillakali, and some chill budtenders check out this fine og with me. We're fans of sweet smelling and sweet tasting ogs and this one left nothing to be desired. You crack the jar and you're attacked by a sweet og smell that's so dank! Large cone shaped gems covered in frost. There's a hunter green hue to the buds with some tan hairs popping up throughout. The nugs are properly triched. and the nug is a nice density. The smell of the medication is it's standout feature. The inside of the bud is covered in trichs and the smell is sooo sweet. Did I mention how dank it smells? Well the taste follows suit!! A sweet tasting og no doubt about it! Nice relaxing high that has me fading into my chair!

Im going to compare both bubbas at once to save a little space. The king bubba is a 60 strain and the bubba a 55. Both are fine examples of a strain that I've puffed many times. Bubbas not one of my favorites strains but the batches I was given were pretty sick. I think bubbas smell and taste like saw dust and usually pass on them but I was given the king bubba and purchased the other bubba to do a side-by-side comparison. The king had darker red hairs and is a bit more dense. The reg. bubba is more leafy and stickier. Both are super frosty and triched out! The color of the two nugs is similar and both have an earthy/ musky smell to them. They both look and smell pretty dank! The taste mirrors the smell and that saw dust, musky, earthiness is there on intake. The king has more of a sweet kushy fragrance to it. The king tastes a little better and has more of a kush taste than the other bubba. I mixed the two together and enjoyed one big fat bowl of 2 killer bubbas. I'd say the king is the better of the 2 but for 5 bucks less you're not really sacrificing quality with the other.

The devils lettuce is up next and while I'm not the biggest sativa guy, this strain smelled sick and I was glad to check it out. It's a green crack/ super skunk cross that was super frosty and smelled pretty sick. Both sides of the cross were evident in the smell with the citrusy/ grapefruit smell representing the green crack, and the skunk smell obviously present from the super skunk side. Zombiemz, skillakali, and a few others helped sample and we all thought the taste mirrored the taste of green crack. Nice chest expansion to report from this medicine. The look of the nug resembled green crack or blue dream. Lots of trichs. will be the theme of this review! The high was really heady and stoney at first, then mellowed out after a few minutes.

The tropic thunder was the next sativa I got from the chill staff here at the crop. It's a northern lights/ super skunk cross that looked pretty dank. The nugs were a light green with a chalky layer covering the surface of the bud. There are patches of bright orange hairs throughout the bud and the trich coverage is definitely there. It sort of resembles the look of blue dream or green crack also. The smell is a funky citrusy smell with some skunk tones present when the nug is pinched. The taste is smooth when snapped out of any smoking apparatus and a mild skunky/ floral taste comes through on inhale. Not the best taste in my opinion but the effects of the flower were there and the look of this flower was exquisite.

I also scooped up some of the sour diesel they had in to round out my sativa experience. I'm an indi guy but I always love a good batch of diesel. The batch at Green Crop didn't disappoint. Nice chalky looking nuggets covered in trichomes. Light tan hairs are surrounded by light and dark green. The smell is a lemony/ citrus deliciousness mixed with that chemmy, gasoline, petro, fuel type smell that I'm so fond of! It kinda resembles a sour og. The trich. production is more prevalent on the inside when you break up the nug. I used my snuggie light and a mag and was taken aback by the trichome coverage on this batch of sour. In fact all the medicine here is triched out real nice. The taste is pretty sick too with a crazy long aftertaste. There are strong citrus and fuel tones in the flavor and there is a bit of a piney og taste there too. I really enjoy all things diesel and this batch was a great example of sick strain.

Last and certainly not least is the fire og. I grabbed a gram of this fine medicine and was so stoked that I did. Super sweet smelling and really tasty! Just how I like an og. I'm not big on spicy smelling herb and this was flower was so sweet and delectable. Trichs are present and can be seen without any sort of light. The bud is absolutely glistening. The nugs are pretty dense and were trimmed well. The buds are a nice dark green with a layer of frost that makes the nug look speckled. The inside of the bud reveals some lighter greens and a sick layer of trichomes. The bud is super sticky and my fingertips are sticking to the keyboard from it! A wonderful og flavor hits you on intake. Nice chest expansion too. The aftertaste is sweet and lingers long after exhale.

I'd like to thank the staff here for their generosity and for taking the time to show me around the shop. I also had the pleasure of sampling some of the strains they gave me and chilling with them for a bit. Dude wouldn't let me pack any of my shit! He just kept going and going. Thanks bro I left there pretty medicated. It was cool to meet all of you guys and I thank you again for making it a sick nugporn experience. All my reviews are done with a clean pipe, skillas inline, a snuggie light, and the help of some knowledgeable patients/friends. Peace

I had been to the Green Crop Co-op once before with a buddy of mine, but unfortunately I had left my troublesome rec. at home. This time I came prepared >:).

Two separate buildings is this best way to describe this collective; A check-in room with a nice plasma & a bud-room with comfy arm rests similar to those at Barona, on the left and right respectively. A lanky rent-a-cop stands guard in the hallway, equipped with army boots and pepper spray.

Upon being led into the second door, I glanced around at the chalkboard menu and various deals. It appeared they had a 55$ cap and smaller nugs of top shelf strains for sale (DJ short blueberry 18/45, great smelling popcorn nugs). My bud-tenders on site were Orean and the two Josh's, who would ultimately help me narrow it down.

When I go to a dispensary, I always have an open mind and try to narrow down my options via elimination. I described my buds of choice to Josh, tight nugs, no trim/leaves, and frosty. Accordingly he only brought out jars that had dense quality nugs, not to say fluffy isn't quality. The Jack Herer was suggested, and instantly was ranked among my top choices. Sweet, pine smelling nugs of green and crimson covered in frost-a top shelf sativa. Next up was their in house blue dream, not at 55 but 60. Huh? Yea they bumped up a high-yield strain beyond their cap, go figure. It was frosty and tropical smelling, a hint of blueberry or mango x ssh.

On to the indicas, what I was actually after hehe. Josh seemed a little more interested in the little league world series than suggesting more indicas but that's okay, I give him credit for being tentative for that long. New patients rolled in and I could tell he was trying to wrap it up so to speak, I completely understood; but I was still going to get a dank indica first x). First offered was the Sour OG, and it looked good. Basically, it came down to the sour and the titan OG's. Titan had amazing looking structure, solid buds from head to toe and of nice size, covered in trichs but with a mild smell. The sour had a slightly lighter coating of trichs but smelled amazing, and lately that has been the determining factor for me.

For my first time patient gift I was offered a free g of Afgoo! however after inspecting it I respectfully asked if I could exchange it for something else. Josh served up Kind Bakery brownie instead and showed flexibility and compassion, making amends in my book :). On to the products...

Kind Bakery Brownie Bites (w/butter scotch chips)- I couldn't completely decide whether or not the butterscotch chips went well with the brownie bite or not. For one, its a combination of sweet elements that almost conflict. Second, it was a bit on the dry side. I didn't really feel much except maybe a light buzz/tingle but what can you expect from a single serving of edibles. The other edibles seemed a tad overpriced as well, maybe not one of their strengths.

SOUR OG - I had never tried sour OG, just Sour diesel and was fairly confident in being able to recognize the "sour" taste. Soft leafless light and medium green buds reminiscent of a planetary strain, this was a nicely cured and tended indica. With a few tiny patches of darker green from different layers of the bud, the look is definitely that of an indica. The smell was the final straw, a well cured piney OG scent that can be recognized as so instantly. It reminded me of Kimchi OG by the way it broke down and smelled, making for long lasting bowls and kief fingers. THe one thing I noticed about this batch was the amazing expansion in my lungs. Without even trying huge hits could be taken without the smoke condensing into a harsher, fouler taste. Despite it's smoothness it lacks an initial kick that I feel from stronger indicas. It came but probably 2 minutes later, and not on exhale.

Check out Green Crop for top shelf sativas and quality indicas.

I've been hopping around a bunch of co-ops recently to try out new strains. I picked up some of that Herojuana -- and damn. I had heard about this strain a while back, but forgot about since it never showed up anywhere. It's priced at $65 an 1/8, which personally for me is saying something about the collective, and depending on the quality of the weed, it can go either way. Fortunately, the price matched the product and I didn't feel like I was getting gypped. I'm a sucker for top shelf, and will always pay more of I can in the hopes of getting better quality. I've definitely been to co-ops that charge more for their strains than they're worth. Green Crop has a great set-up going, and with their affordable price range, its no wonder their ratings are so frickin' solid.

Definitely stop by. It's a long drive for me in North County, but if you're in San Diego hop on over to Green Crop.

It just keeps getting better

The crop is always improving.

The buds have always been great in all price ranges from 65 to 30 but now the variety has expanded even more. The top shelf is always rotating super dank OG's that go as low as 45/8th. even the lower priced OG's like the Thai, Heavenly, and Poison are really good. The top of the line OG's like the House, triple, jupiter, diablo and sour are all excellent OG's. The CROP is the Best for OG buds. Finally tried the p-91 too and don't let the smell n look fool you this buds got a kick and great taste too. There choices are always expanding and changing which lets patients know things are fresh. The Pure Kush is sick too and even though its out, I'm already looking forward to the cotton candy coming back.

There Sativa strains are all good too lot's of good crosses but I like to stick to the mid price sativas or lower end. The Afgoo, Jackwreck ,the Hog and Greencrack are what I have been ripping latley from the sativa end. The Afgoo was good for 40 as always. The Jackwreck, the Hog and the Greencrack were a great deal at 45/8th. It's great how the green crop gives such good prices wherever they can. Sometimes when you go in the prices have come down a little from the weed maps menu which is always a nice surprise. Last top shelf sativa/hybrid I got was DJ short blue berry and that stuff is fire, great taste.

The concentrate has finally come to the crop and as they do with any Meds, there doing a great job. The OG melts so nice and taste so good but most of all it is super strong. this is perfect for the heavy medicator to get to sleep. They also had some Purp that was nice. But I have really enjoyed the sour d. This stuff makes any bowl taste super dank and also is real easy to sprinkle on your bowls. The high I get is very much sativa high, so it doesn't have a strong sleepy affect. Unless you use a lot. Unlike the OG and Purp that are pressed, the sour d is pebble form.

Everyone that works the crop always has a smile on there face and great attitude. Everyone is willing to give advice on what to try and what they think of different strains that are in. They always ask how it's going and I never feel rushed. Everyone is always willing to talk it up a bit if the patient wants to and the overall interaction with the staff has made my experience at the crop personal, which has helped them help me be more knowledgable about my meds over all. They will help with any questions they can. All the effort put into the crop shows and is very much appreciated. These things make the crop a real special place.

Weedmaps specials, if your like myself and like to check out the menu before heading in keep an eye out for the $5 off 8th donations. It's a great way green crop hooks up there patients even more.

Tried the Superman OG and Headband today and as usual I was not disappointed. The Superman is another great OG. The Headband is awesome with a real strong sour D smell and taste. When the Green Crop has a strain I have enjoyed in the past I know it's going to be the best quality I have tried of that strain.

Thank You Green Crop

It was August 8th, with my birthday being the next day, and I was entirely out of delicious buds. I was in the mood for some medicated drinks, since I've had such great experiences with the Farmacy brand sodas, and my friend Mark suggested that we go to Green Crop to stock up on birthday supplies.

I had been here once before and picked up an 8th of that Pineapple Kush; the experience left a pleasant, sweet taste in my mouth and I decided to crawl back for more after looking at their menu. I'm a sucker for good deals on quarters, so their "mini" and "medium" buds tend to appeal to me, and for the great quality that comes with such a low price, one could understand why.

The size/appearance of these Mini/Medium buds doesn't affect their quality, and the quarters of Mini Diesel and Mini Domina that I've picked up surely prove it.

On appearance alone, they look a little sloppy compared to the well-manicured buds that stoner-snobs are so used to (but I grind them up and roll joints or vape, so I don't care), but don't let that deter you! The Mini Domina I picked up has rich, purple leaves and a pungent smell that warns you that you're in for a delicious surprise. It's dry and a bit on the crunchy side, but for 55$ a 1/4, I won't complain one bit! I was surprised about how dark and purple these little nuglets were, but needless to say, I'm quite pleased.

The Mini Diesel has the same "issue" with appearance, which, once again, is only a problem if you're a weed snob and refuse to smoke anything that isn't a perfect flower; Mini D's flakey, rather large popcorn nugs were a little on the harsh side when smoked, but the high wasn't anything to gripe about. I don't believe they have that fat jar of Mini D sitting around, but it was good while it lasted and served me well with plenty of joints and idle bowls.

On the day of the 8th, I simply picked up a 1/4 of Mini Diesel and the budtender was sweet enough to throw a pre-roll in my bag, out of no where. Apparently August 9th was his birthday too. Go Leos! :]

My friend Mark bought a few of their Kushtown Sodas, Green Crack and Jack Herer. These are nifty little drinks that are apparently infused with the same strain that they're named after, which I think it a really cool concept. The labeling and packaging is pretty cute and original, and they do look like mainstream beverages. One day I'll find Kushtown Sodas at my local 7-11. One daaaay!!

We drank both of them the next day and while they tasted very, very good with a minimal cannabis flavor, I didn't notice too much in the way of getting an actual body high. These seems to be a common issue with edibles I've gotten from clinics, which is why I'm wary of buying them. It's not as if I felt nothing at all, but in all honesty, it wasn't a very STRONG high, but for 10$, I did feel something and its a fun little drink.

In all, Green Crop is an awesome, professional place with an interesting and unique set up. I feel the bud room is a little awkward since the countertop is so goddamn high and I feel like I have to stand on my tip-toes to talk to the bud tenders, but overall its a cute concept. I find their pricing is a little too high on a lot of their bud, if only because I am NOT down to spend more than 55$ on an 8th. I think its sort of unfortunate that almost all of the 8ths are 60$, which is way too much for a young, minimally employed college student to be wasting on weed.

Fortunately, Green Crop makes up for it with their specials on Medium and Minis, along with the vast selection of edibles and Kushtown drinks (there are a LOT of those yummy drinks), but the mostly 60$ 8ths is a bit of a turn off to me. In any matter, these dudes know what they're doing and they have a great shop down in the heart of La Mesa. I'll be sure to visit again.

Definitely at Green Crop! I have been a 215 patient for almost 5 years now, and I have been to a number of dispensaries in S.D. county and in L.A. county. And I have to say the guys and gals at Green Crop are a hands down spot if you are looking for great quality medications, and edibles (I have a high tolerance) for both of these. The atmosphere there is wonderful, even when Busy they do not try rushing me to just buy some medications; they actually have taken the time to find out what it is that I am needing when I go in.
Point in case went in yesterday with my son who is also a 215 pt. our bud-tender (Justin?) has not seen me in a couple of months to actually wait on me, but He Knew as soon as I walked in What I was Needing, also these (I say kids,I am old tho), are very respectful, and know how to be Caring. Not once since I have started going there have I had a bad experience. The kids do make me feel welcome, and not just because I represent a few $$$ to them..... they weigh your medication right in front of you on a two sided scale, and it is Always Over!!!!
Went to Alabama a few months ago, and the edibles were a lifesaver!!!!
Thanks Green Crop!!!

Went to Green Crop last Thursday. I'm not a huge fan of their prices, but they have some of the best weed in SD. I think a lot of people feel the same way because every time I go there it's busy. The wait was about 15 minutes as there were a few patients ahead of me, but that just meant I was stuck in the lobby with a cute receptionist...I've had worse experiences. The BT's were chill as usual. They always point me to the heavy-hitter indicas (then again any indica jar at GC is a heavy hitter). I got to the House OG and holy shit! What a beautiful smell. This weed really wakes up your senses when you smell it, like a good coffee. You definitely know it's an OG. It has a deep, dark, rich, earthy smell with pine and citrus after notes. I had to get an 8th ($60). The buds were a mix of light and dark green with little orange hairs poking out everywhere. They were dense, sticky, and had good trich coverage. It could have been trimmed a little bit better, but whatever. The taste was really strong. The OG scent stays in your nose/mouth for a while. I'm trying to figure out how to describe the high...it's like Mike Tyson in his heyday. This is a fucking knockout weed! It punches you in the face - hard. When you're down and think you're out, that mother fucker bites your ear off! Seriously though, every time I smoked this weed I had to lay down. Major body high, almost like an edible. This has got to be some of the best MMJ that I've smoked in the short time that I've had my rec. Compliments to the chef on that one. If you love indicas, you'll shit yourself after smoking GC's House OG. As I was checking out, the BT (dammit I'm horrible with names) showed me some Blue Dream. I'm not a huge fan of sativas, but it was by far the best Blue Dream I've ever seen/smelled. It looked so good I had to go back the next day and pick up a g ($20). The bud I got was a super light green mini x-mas tree with bright orange hairs that was frosted white with trichs. It had a nice pungent, sweet, citrus smell to it. Even though it was a sativa, it had a nice little body high and a really good head buzz. Nice for the daytime because that House OG put me the fuck out. GC doesn't play around when it comes to indicas. Their House OG is a new favorite of mine. While their prices are on the high side, not many spots in SD can touch them as far as quality is concerned.

I previously reviewed the P-91 from my recent visit to Green Crop and included a detailed review of my experience in that review. This review is for the Herojuana...

I've always been skeptical of the Cream of Crop shelf at Green Crop. I'm not sure there is a reason to have anything at a $25/$65 cap. I didn't want to criticize the shelf prior to trying, so I decided to go for the Herojuana. The budtender highly recommended it, saying that it was "the best thing in here."

I have seen the strain at many different spots and have always been curious about it. I am unaware of the genetics, but know that it is a popular and powerful Indica. I should note that this is my first time sampling this strain. The sample I picked up from Green Crop has some OG in the scent, so I suspect it has been crossed with OG. The OG scent is combined with a touch of spice. The look is very dense with many red hairs. The look and smell are without question top quality, though I'm not sure it looks or smells better than top quality batches I've purchased from here or elsewhere.

The taste is similar to the smell. The taste was rich and strong with a touch of spice and an OG influence. The effects were immediate. A strong head and body stone was apparent immediately with the effects ramping up about 15 minutes after smoking. I prefer Indicas with clear and/or happy head highs and strong body stones and I am not sure this strain is totally up my alley. I found it to be more of a "down and out" stone with a stronger head stone than I normally prefer. The head effects were a little too aggressively stony for me. Clearly, this has more to do with the strain than the grow, so it is difficult for me to criticize.

Bottom line, if you are familiar with the strain and love it, I'm sure this is an excellent example of it. I personally didn't find it to be distinguishable enough in quality to charge a premium over the Top Shelf. I smoked some King Bubba after sampling Herojuana and must admit to preferring it. I should note that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the King Bubba from Green Crop and the rest of their Bubbas, they are fantastic. Again, Green Crop has top quality product and I recommend everyone visiting, I personally will stick to their Top Shelf unless I see something of obvious difference in quality on the Cream of the Crop shelf. Thanks to everyone at Green Crop for helping me out during my last visit.

I love this joint.
Its a one-stop shop for whatever your budget, or tastes, are lookin for.

Being a kush fan, the Green Crop Co-Op never fails to satisfy.

Take my advice, do yourself a favor and spend the extra cash and get some Herojuana while it lasts.
Best nug I've ever had. Might not look like it, but you cant judge it by its cover ;) Just do it!

Thanks for running such a fine establishment Green Crop & Staff.
I always feel comfortable coming and going, you always have a great selection, and I'm always treated fairly.

Went on Saturday and picked up a g of Sour OG. Green Crop really does a good job keeping a lot of top quality bud. The bud I got was dense and chunky. Good trich coverage and STANK! I was put on my ass after smoking a blunt. I can't say enough about the quality. My only complaint is the price...you guys gotta lower that cap...its higher than me!

I'm going to start my review with the P-91 because I think there are a few people wanting to know about this strain and if Green Crop has the real deal. Read on after if you want information about my full experience at Green Crop. Without further adieu, here is my review of the P-91...

I've been hearing of this strain for some time. It's hard to get accurate info, as there are a lot of contradictory stories floating around. Some people say it's named for the Poway Class of 91 while others refute this. There seems to be some disagreement regarding the genetics of the strain with most people saying it is inbred and featuring Thai in its genetics. Like G13 and other strains of legend, there is hype and misinformation. Most people tend to agree with following: P-91 is a hard hitting all Indica strain that is unique to San Diego. I cannot tell you with certainty that Green Crop has the real deal because I never tried the original, but I can tell you that this batch certainly seems to fit the bill. The look is very dank and the smell is very funky. I can't pinpoint the smell, but I can tell you it is unique and not entirely pleasant. It is different, but reminiscent of the stank from strains like Cat Piss and Trainwreck. The taste was equally funky and slightly stronger than the smell. It is again hard to pinpoint, but if I had to venture a description of the taste, I would say it tastes slightly of tires. It has a unique strong taste that's bitter and lingers. The taste is followed by a heavy Indica stone that could only be described as couch melt. It started very stony and heavy in the head and body and moved to a long lasting body stone as it progressed. If this isn't authentic, it's certainly unique and worthy of the reputation. I can't say I would have this over some of the amazing tasting OGs out there right now, but if you are looking for something unique, strong and funky to impress your friends with, you may want to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. Now on to the rest of the review...

I have been visiting Green Crop since the week they opened and they continue to maintain or increase the quality of their product. I haven't been visiting as much recently mostly because of price. The prices are probably fair for the quality, but there are a couple of spots in the city and one in the area that have comparable quality at better prices. With that said, Green Crop always has standouts on their menu that are hard to find elsewhere. Yesterday's trip was prompted by seeing the infamous P-91 on the menu. I came by to pick some up and also wanted to sample something off of their Cream of the Crop Menu to see if it was worth the high price. I left with P-91 and Herojuana. I will report back on the Herojuana in a separate review as I have yet to try it.

I was greeted at Green Crop by a very nice nice receptionist who was not too hard on the eyes (smart move by the owners of this spot, I must say). I noticed a list at the front desk where patients could sign up to find out about a new location. I asked the receptionist about this and she mentioned that they may have to move due to new zoning laws. If these guys have to move, I wish them the best of luck, but think they'll be just fine as long as the quality remains. I was promptly led into the bud room where I recognized the bud tenders. These guys have always been very nice and patient. Their knowledge of strain genetics can be a touch hazy, but they are always helpful.

I took a look at several items on the menu and many strains looked great. The Blue Dream and OGs looked very good as usual. Out of the OGs, the Ed OG would have been my choice. The Dutch Treat (an Amsterdam based strain that is 80% Indica and 20% Sativa) looked interesting, as did the Larry Sage (a unique hybrid of Larry OG, SAGE and Sour Diesel that looked Sativa dominant). After some deliberation, I felt that the P-91 and Herojuana were the most interesting and unique Indicas to sample. I asked to split a relatively small amount and the bud tenders were hesitant to allow me to do so. I offered to pay a premium price and mentioned I would be reviewing the samples, and the bud tenders allowed me to split the amount. I must mention that I picked up the same amount of Top Shelf at comparable quality just minutes later at a spot nearby for approximately 25% less and the bud tender at this spot had no issue with the split.

The bottom line with Green Crop is that they have a convenient location, top quality product and prices on the high side for the area. With that said, this level of product would be much more expensive in L.A. If you are willing to pay the premium, you will not leave disappointed. I go to Green Crop to pick up unique strains when I am willing to spend the extra money and I will continue visiting. For those who have not visited, you can count on top level OGs and Sativas. I personally feel that Green Crop has the best Bubbas anywhere. I think twice before purchasing Bubba elsewhere. They have the best Blue Dream I have sampled, but I must say that I've found better Purples and sweet flavored Indicas elsewhere. Green Crop's quality is impossible to deny and you should visit them if you haven't already.

* I wanted to quickly note that I love the "Curing Soon" portion of Green Crop's menu, it's always nice to see what's on deck and I wish more spots would do this.

The beautiful friendly ladies at the front desk always make me feel welcome and always look great. Thanks a lot girls.

The Crops OG selection has somehow got even deeper and danker recently. The Green crop, Black Label, Skywalker, Heorjuana, 818, and True OG. Are all just FIRE, oh yeah the Fire OG too its hard to choose. I gotta mention the Bonds OG too cause the price is great and it's still got great OG taste and for sure a heavy high. But the top self is just bananas.

The Sativa selection has been on point too. The Hashberry was great. The Green Crop Blue Dream was easily the best blue dream I have ever had and I have tried a lot of Blue dream. The smell and taste of the Blue dream is just off the charts and the buds look as great as they smell, taste and medicate. This is what the Green crop has always done to bring back a seasoned smoker like myself. They not only bring in the best strains but they bring in the best quality of that strain every time.

Thank You Green Crop
