I love BKC, the environment is great all the staff is really nice. They normally have a wide selection though they do sell out of the goods pretty quickly! They're edible selection is great one of the better I've found so far.

Price is always great, 4G Eights for 45 is really nice and the free Eight every month is a great incentive. They give you a great deal every time in a comfortable environment. I would personally love to hear that cure times were a little longer but I just make sure to be extra picky when I'm picking out what I want and you can be! They will let you look at they're selection under a microscope that shows the Trichomes so you can see what color the heads are and I love this.

They do a great job and I hope they keep it up!

Tried the Cannadential. Very stoney. Sour Kush I picked up was seedy. Disappointing. Paid too much for seedweed. Sour Kush wasn't bad considering. Friendly for sure. Not bad overall, minus the seeds. Parking is terrible. 2 spots.

This place was most recent venture. I really enjoyed the atmosphere here and the people were very friendly. I originally went in to see their clone selection which wasn't big but all clones were strong and healthy looking. The budtender was very informative since I sort of quiz every budtender I meet and he was on his game. The bud was nice but I was hoping they would have had more strains. I will defintely go back at least to get clones.

This is the kind of environment medicine should be sold in, instead of getting jacked or shorted.
Keep doing whatever your vision is it is working. In time Boulder Kind Care and Boulder will be the Best.

Flat-rate pricing. So discreet! They have the friendliest, most welcoming atmosphere in Boulder. I don't feel afraid to buy my medicine here. To me, the most important thing is how the staff makes you feel and they make me feel WELCOME. Thank you, Kind Care. Keep it up!

So, after reading all the positive feedback and viewing the menu of this place, I thought Boulder Kind Care would be the place to go. I've recently been seeing what all the different dispensaries have to offer. When I walked in BKC, I was warmly greeted by a cute girl working the front desk. We got the paperwork business done, and I took a seat in a room with a TV, a few magazines, and a tray with small jars with some nugs in them. I spent my time waiting checking out the buds in the jars, deciding on what I was going to get. The Super Silver Haze, an all-time favorite of mine, looked pretty good, and the Jack Herer looked decent as well. When I got into the bud room, I was told they were out of them! I was a bit disappointed, and looked through the jars in the bud room. I kept getting excited with all the good names, like Flo, Grapefruit, Durban, etc. but was disappointed every time I popped the jar! The smells weren't that powerful, and the buds didn't look so stellar either. I asked the budtender if he had any recommendations. He went to a back room and got some different strains. I was excited when he enthusiastically walked them in, but once again, none of them stood out as genuinely "top shelf." I ended up getting a gram of Durban poison, and I've definitely had better DP! Although the atmosphere is very nice and neat and BKC has a good system of doing things, the quality of their marijuana isn't the greatest--not even close really. I should also mention that the budtender seemed to be trying to get me to buy as much as possible, rather than truly giving me a good recommendation on what I wanted--I told him a heady and cerebral sativa, and he brought out Grape Ape, known for its indica qualities.

I've done A LOT of smoking, between Amsterdam, California, and Colorado. BKC is not the place to go for connoisseur quality marijuana.

I was referred to bkc by a patient who was also as pleased I was with the selections, knowledgeable bud tenders that are helpful and funny. I become a patient as well with the great deal of free 1/8 once a moth, no brainer!!!! I been go there about 4 months and never been without finding excellent buds. Missed grand opening and prizes but still 4 grams 1/8 oz hard to beat.
I like the fact that all 1/8's are all the same prices and breaks for bigger amounts. Keep up the great work and friendly staff. Hey Ladies up front at the desks and greeting, you rock.

The staff here is the friendliest I have ever encountered. They have some of the best hash oil around town. Everybody in the store knows your name and always tries to help you out. The only complaint is that sometimes they have the same strains for a couple days in a row, but they are always good. I would recommend this dispensary to anyone looking for a good atmosphere.

I have been to bkc sevral times, and have not been let down. The staff is great the 2nd time I came in they knew my name and did not even need to see my Id, how cool. I love the bud tenders, Alex is awesome as is everybody else as well. There meds are good to great, I have upper gi probs I love the trail mix it helped my nausea and other ailments, give it a try. They have the really good chocolate bars to, some of the strains could have been a bit more mature and have that nice amber to the tricombes, but for a 45 a 1/8th they were all worth the money, also try mountian jam, mamasan.
Keep up the good work I will be back. If you want a nice, clean, freindly place to get meds then give bkc a try, you will be happy you did.

First and foremost, from receptionists to bud tenders to two of the owners I've met - this is exactly what customer service should always be about and the staff won me over on my first visit. Every person involved with the dispensary has remained consistently first-rate in their taking care of my fastidious medicinal needs.

I'm a long-time, heavy-smoking, indica-loving gal who has often been disappointed by well-reviewed strains from other dispensaries. I'd love to say BKC has been infallible in the consistency of the quality of their meds, but we all know that nobody is perfect.

The White Widow is the best I've found and it has always been consistent. The Blueberry isn't quite as nice, but likewise consistent. The Mamasan was a lighter high, but made for a great appetite stimulant - eating is something I struggle with.

I'd had a gram of Afghan Kush hash and loved it. I purchased it again a week later and it was clearly a different, inferior batch. I returned it two days later and received an apologetic exchange. Again - this is called customer service and this place seems to get it.

I can't review sativas as I seen to be immune to them for some reason.

A few complaints:

I was very disappointed to see a strain called "Purps" priced above the normal $15G rates. I'm the type, that while I don't want to dish out the extra cash, I'm too afraid of missing out on something extraordinary to pass it up. I suspect there are a lot of us out here. So I ended up with an overpriced indica that did a nice job of relieving my bone pain a bit without that, um, annoying high. Seriously, not a whiff of a buzz. I can get that kind of pain relief from extra-strength Tylenol and for a lot less money.

Now I see they're offering "Jack Flash" at the same high-end rate, and nope, I won't be able to resist that either. Here's hoping for better results.

As for the biggest inconsistency, it's been with their hash plant strain. The first time I tried it I found it the best strain I'd ever smoked. Killed all of my pain, had a inordinately strong, pungent aftertaste that I can only describe as "wood goo" and produced a soaring head and body high with serious legs.

After being out of the strain for some time afterward one of the owners made a call upon my inquiring about more hash plant. Within days a new small batch arrived and they saved me a quarter. Sadly, I still have most of it - I've already pulled out about a half-dozen seeds - the buds are all unmitigated duds.

Based on my prior experiences, however, I expect BKC will remedy this problem to my satisfaction tomorrow. It feels good to have this much confidence in a business - so long as this continues they will continue to receive the vast majority of my business.

The foundations are in place for this place to become the only dispensary I will ever need. I'd just like to see them regularly carry maybe another dozen strains and please start carrying some good keif.

I'm updating this to state that as expected, I was more than fairly credited for the seed weed. The problem had already been caught and was being dealt with appropriately. The Jack Flash is top of the line, Still the Widow remains my favorite and I picked up another 1/8. I'm told fresh re-enforcements are arriving on 5/1/10. Given that, I'm pleased to report what I picked up today still left me with some viscid fingertips. The hybrid Whiteberry is also due tomorrow. The aftertaste is a mild cheese rather than fruity - the high is an equally surprising, unique delight.

So this was one of the only places around I could find that was open on Easter Sunday! Once I found out they were open I decided to head on down..

The receptionist lady was really nice and professional, I haven't had to ever fill out that much paperwork before, but its ok. The atmosphere is pretty nice, easy to be comfortable there.

The budtender was eager to show off their dynascope, or 230x microscope thing hooked up to an iMac, which was pretty cool. You can really get all up on it and see individual trichomes clearly, its crazy. Anyway, I decided to grab myself a bit of their Strawberry Cough, a New Amsterdam cookie and I have to say, the quality of their meds is great! I was also given a free joint for coming in, I think it was an Easter promotion, but still pretty nice. It was a good experience overall except for feeling a little bit pressured by the budtender, but he might have just been showing me what of their inventory is worthwhile as opposed to saying that everything's great.

The price of $15/gram isn't terrible but isn't great, and I did find it a little irritating that their prices didn't include tax. However, it was convenient that they take credit cards, so it's definitely not all bad. I'll most likely be by to check these guys out again.

Beautiful day!! Decided to walk Pearl St, view the snow covered mountains and pick up some herbs from Boulder Kind Care. They were out of both me and my boyfriends favorite strains they carried, Golden Goat and Jack Flash :-( but we ended up getting some Bubbleberry and Super Skunk. The Super Skunk smelled delicious but the nugs were a little too airy for our taste.. However, the BubbleBerry is MUST HAVE!! I highly recommend going and picking some up - It's been added to my top 10 strain list! :-) I really hope that they get Jack Flash and Golden Goat back in stock but as long as they have Bubbleberry I'll defiantly be a returning customer. CHECK IT OUT!!!!

Oh yeah, they added these new labels to their medicine bottles that are pretty awesome. They read my mind - it looks a lot better than words just written on it with a sharpie. Nice improvement guys... Tip though: Instead of having it say "TYPE:" - for I'm assuming either indica or sativa (it wasn't written on mine) - I would change it to "WEIGHT:" The weight was written above "STRAIN:" and I figured since "TYPE:" isn't obviously used every time - I know "WEIGHT:" would be.... Just a suggestion! :-)

My boyfriend and I went in today and I was more than pleased with my experience. The girl up front is really friendly and talkative - when you go back through the door after she checks your ID and paperwork you enter a really nicely decorated waiting room, the place was a lot bigger inside than it seems it would be when your looking at it on the outside... I loved it :-) The herb room is *AWESOME* and he has the big MAC-daddy computer screen with the super 230X zoom digital microscope camera so you can examine the herb before you buy it. When I first saw their ad that they had the microscope in their dispensary, I told my boyfriend that I didn't think they would sell herb that wouldn't live up to par under the scope and I was right! The Jack Flash (boyfriends favorite) and the Golden Goat (MY FAVORITE) I would highly recommend....I love that they have the herb out for you to pick up the jars yourself to see/smell the herb so you don't have to ask them to take down a million jars off of a shelf for you. I also must point out again that their prices are the BEST! $45 eighth + tax (still less than $50) Oh yeah, they also carry really nice pre-rolled joints for $10. Again, first time patients get a free one which is always a nice incentive - CHECK THAM OUT!!
