This is one of the closest co-ops to my home. Off El Cajon Blvd, by the tubs. There is plenty of parking on the side, but it is very dark and there always seem to be people chilling in their cars. When you walk in all you see are bars, and the whole operation right behind the bars. You can see everything from people smoking to people buying, just by standing in the waiting room. Paperwork was quick and the guy at the front desk let me in as soon as i gave him my paperwork. He entered my paperwork in the computer while I was shopping. First time patients get $5.00 off first time donation. The selection of meds were very weak, maybe 5 total. I did find one strain I enjoyed the smell and look of, Purple Urkle. Top shelf for 60 bucks, however I came in here with only $50 to spend on an 8th. Got 5 off for first time, so down to 55. Told the BT my situation and he gladly took off another 5 for me. : ) Thank You! Inside they have a chill spot with vapes and waterpipes. Good for those who need a place to medicate. I personally wouldn't come back to this co-op due to low selection and lack of privacy inside.

This was my first visit to we the people. I was not that impressed with this club. I dont know if it was the heat ( 90+) in the place or what but i not sure if ill be back. it cool they got a lil lounge that you can smoke in if you make a donation of 5 bucks or buy medication. the place was dirty looking and just had a grungy look.

the front staff was nice and sign up was quick, but i did not see them make a phone call or go online checking if i was a real patient. the girl there was just wanting a cigarette and was dressed a lil trashy. I like a little bit more professionalism.

I originally came because my friend said they had concentrate bells for sale. he told me the guy said he will sell him one for 25 bucks and this was about 3 weeks ago. I know it a little late but i went in today and I walked over to the glass counter and that when the budtender said hey over here is the bud. I said I was looking at these hash bells ( there was about 5 of them) and I asked if they were for sale. He told me no.so 3 weeks ago yes and today no. and then he said they suck anyway. well i used them b4 and i never had problems, but the only reason i dont have one is they are 50 and up anywhere else. so i then went to the bud counter.

They only had a few strains to pick from, no concentrates, and only a select few of top buds that i would want to buy. I picked up some gods gift and it was only 15 bucks for 2 grams. not bad on the price so i do like them on that. I went home and smoked 2 bowls and felt the effects in a couple of minutes. the bud did not look that great but the body effects were nice and I actually felt pretty uplifting.

So I might come back when i see on weedmaps that they got a few more things in. Also i live in east county and usually drive to shops in mission valley and Claremont because i find better quality there so i might hit up WE THE People if i need a quick fix at a chaep price b4 i can go to the upscale ones.

This place has the potential to be a great collective and lounge, but unfortunately it's not. Let me just say they have good bud, but other than that this is the dirtiest, most unprofessional place in San Diego that I've ever been in. The pictures on here make it look 100 times better than what it is in person. First off, they have 4 glass cases, one with flowers, the other 3 are filled with junk, trash, food wrappers, etc. There are tables set up with vaporizers on them, that I wouldn't even consider using based on the cleanliness of this shop. The floor was covered in dust bunnies everywhere, there were ants not only on the floor, but on the countertops as well. Ants were crawling near the thrown together edible fridge making me wonder if they're sampling the products...ew! They say there is a vape lounge, not so much, comfy couches, but dirty pieces to smoke out of, seems like they hadn't changes the water in weeks, there was a bottle of alcohol on the table, but nothing to put it on if you wanted to clean a mouthpiece and even then I probably wouldn't use there pieces. The bathroom was seriously DISGUSTING! So gross I took one look and decided I could hold it. The plants I saw I was super bummed about being that that was what I went in for. The leaves were spotted all over, some dead foliage,and by the looks of things might have even had diseases already. These guys really need to clean up this shop for there own good, but I won't be going back anytime soon. Sorry guys!

Man these guys stick out like a sore thumb! Sorry but there selections of herbs are alittle on the low end side. I like the staff there chill but all eyes on me when I leave and dont like that. I'm all for SAFE ACCESS! Smoke lounge just brings me down this is my city but I don't shit on where I sleep. Not to hate but maybe I'll try again after all good deals on ok herb.

So while I was editing this post, something funky happened and weedmaps lost everything (my original review included) I had been writing out. So I will start from the beginning, and try to stay as true as possible to my original review.. then tack on what I wanted to add. I apologize for how LONG this is.. but I feel the story needs to be told....

Went and verified at We The People the other day (brought another first time patient with me as well). Parking was easy, the lobby was nice and clean, and verification was quick and painless. Forgot to mention originally that the guy who checked us in was very polite. Decent first impression.

On into the bud room. They have a long display case with 3 - 4 sections in it. The first section is where they display their meds. The other 3 sections or so are filled with what appears to be random junk. Not very professional on that end, simple fix though.

They have a smokers lounge it appears, in the back end of the bud room. Appeared to be some decent glass and comfy seating. Going for the laid back feel, and it shows.

While I was waiting in line I wasn't that impressed with the appearance of the meds in the jars. I also noticed that they had some clones on a little table behind me. When I got to the front (only one person in front of me) I asked the BT about the donation for the clones. He said between $18 - $30 each.

SERIOUSLY?! $18 - $30 for a clone? I kind of said something about it and the BT mentioned that since I was a first timer I got $5 off, taking it down to $13 if I decided to get one. Not bad.

He helped me sort through till we found a nicely rooted UK Cheese. Some of the other cuttings were not rooted much, if at all. The BT yelled up at the front desk about it being a problem, so I'll cut them some slack there.

Then I went and looked at their actual meds. They had some Super Duper Haze, which looked and smelled pretty decent. However I went with the Green Crack as it was one of the better representations of the strain I had seen in a while. We just opted for a gram (usually get something small as a first timer). Since I had another first timer with me we got the gram for $15.

Later on I realized the BT hooked it up pretty damn decent at 2.2 for $15. Very nice. As for the G.C. itself, it was alright. Not the best I have had, and indeed not the worst. Could indeed see/smell the Skunk traits.

This place does have a get six 8th's get your seventh 8th free card (kind of like coffee shops), which is pretty cool. I do agree with another review below that the graphics on the front of the card may be a little much. Especially in light of recent events, you might not want to send the wrong message to the wrong people. Just my opinion.

Left a 3 for quality, and a 2 for price mainly because of the price of cuttings if you are not a first timer. I cannot justify asking $18 - $30 for barely rooted cuttings. BT weighed heavy handed, personal thank you from me to him.

Now...around the end there I trailed off saying how this place wasn't bad all in all, and I had planned on going back to give them another shot. How I hoped to see the price of cuts go down. How I know what it takes to raise them, and have donated larger rooted cuttings to other places and patients for around $10 - $15 depending on size.

Then I noticed my review was voted "Not Helpful" by WeThePeopleCollectives. So I decided to say something about it and edited my original review.

I stated how a mature and professional establishment would take some constructive criticism with a smile, take note, and make changes if enough members piped up about the same issues. That instead of abusing their power as a member here and voting a review as "not helpful" just because they didn't like it... They should instead address said issues (maturely) in an "Official Collective Response."

So then we got what appeared to be a fake profile by WeThePeoples that replied to the few recent bad and not so great reviews in a very harsh manner. At least it looked that it was a fake account since this profile was pretty new and had only done 2 reviews on here (both for We The People), one being the rant at other members (and myself) I just mentioned.

Another patient wrote another negative review, also not very polite..but very on point. Wake up this morning and both of those reviews have vanished now.

All I can say is, I won't be going back to this place. It's very obvious who I am to this collective by my review, and I imagine I won't be treated kindly based off of what I have experienced on here since my initial review.

i frequent this co-op alot! the lounge is super chill i like 2 kik it ther 4 a while after i pik up my meds.bottom line hit it up 4 killer meds

i originally came here to get some concentrate. so i stopped in and the verification was the fastest i have ever experienced. when i entered the budroom i noticed three or four glass display counters. i walked passed the first one because all i saw is buds and i was looking for something specific. the other display cases had nothing but empty jars and a bunch of food trash from the taco shop it looked like...kinda gross...in the lounge area of the budroom there was a dude sitting on the couch talking on his cell phone. maybe these guys have a different policy but every budroom ive ever been in doesnt allow cell phones..so between that and how dirty it was in there i was kinda sketched out before i even talked to the BT. when i didnt see any concentrates i looked on their menu and saw they had some in stock(at least thats what the menu said). So i asked the BT who didnt really seem like he wanted to help me too much about the hash on the menu and he says "we dont have any"....ok...so im pretty much just ready to take off empty handed but i felt i should just ask him about some of his buds....i saw two different OG's on the menu so i asked him what his choice between the two would be. He tells me again "ohh we dont have any of that"....so half the shit you have on your digital menu board you dont even have? what the hell?....so i asked the BT when some concentrate would be in stock and he told me a couple days. i asked him his name and brought my hand out to shake his and his hand basically melted in mine....now i know that sounds stupid to most of you probly but when a man shakes another mans hand it shouldnt feel like puddy. i left totally empty handed. there are better places on the Blvd to get meds from.

first off i came to this place expecting nothing crazy..... i checked in hassle free really cool people it was my birthday and my first time so i got 10 bucks off they could of been more cool about the gift hook up but hey its free..... i got a variety of product nothing off the top shelf but the mid grade shelf shit was bomb. it was only sativas but they had nice developed trichomes not too great of a smell but medicated good.. there low quality stuff might have well been mech wasnt good but hey you get what you pay for it should have been 2 grams for ten though on that stuff.... there edibles were bomb rocky road cookie dough or whatever it is was the shit....... alll around sick place would like to come with more money had a nice atmosphere and all and had areas to medicate with the products and a tv which was cool. i will be coming back but only to try the top shelf nice set up guys keep it real and keep it going. WE THE PEOPLE one of the top ten shops in san diego in my top five maybe.....

Nice spot easy to find went there today for the first time it was fast and easy the staff guys are cool n they showed me good strains no judgment... Love the vaporizers n the glass pipes pretty cool... Nice spot where you can chill.. I'm coming back good prices n gotta love the 4g eights

Had my first visit today, twenty minutes before closing. Usually expect to get rushed a bit towards closing, this applies everywhere not just dispensaries...Anyhow, I was welcomed in and taken care of pretty damn good. The two guys I dealt with took the time and treated me well. I have passed by this place for weeks now, I just got renewed and thought I should pay "We the people" a visit, it also helps that I can drive to this spot in about 5-7 minutes, Having a family, free time can be hard to come by. So I was welcomed in, and had two strains on my mind, I asked the BT which strains he liked and he quickly pointed out about 5 different strains that I would probably like, then this cute girl comes along and points out the two I had in mind, Blue Dream and their HawgsBreath. So I get a bit of each, I also was able to grab a small sample of their best hash, the BT was quick to point out that I was free to try any of their smoking accessories or vapes, it looked like Wax and reminded me of plenty of good times. They dont have dozens of strains available, however wht they do have is all top quality, even their not so good stuff looked pretty damn good. I enjoyed a few bowls and was listening to casual conversation, all while thinking damn this place is convienient, open pretty late, 7 minutes away, a place to smoke cool vibe and nice sized TVs in the loungs and waiting room. I could see myself stopping by here for a quick get away from the everyday shenanigans. I also wanted to comment on the ventilation they have in place I noticed when I exhaled, all smoke was immediately sucked up and out, so there is no worries of stale smoke lingering or feeling like your gasping for air. I felt very comfortable here, I could see myself going back and spending a lil more time there, all said and done my total time out the door was 22 minutes. I would reccommend this place to anyone! Keep up the good work guys!

my only two reccomendations would be Having healthy clones in stock, and maybe putting up a faux wall behind the front "check in counter", I noticed that first thing, I was able to see all the way back passed the meds to the people sitting enjoying the lounge.

General: I went to this place to check out the vape lounge and pick up some Red Dragon that they had for cheap.

Bud Quality: So far Ive only had the Red dragon A Hybrid European strain from Amsterdam. I got 5.7G's. It smokes a little harsh and has a spice flavor to it very dense and burns long. personally i don't like the taste of this stuff out of a bong but out of a vape it is excellent and i would recommend it to those vape smokers. The high was grood and long lasting especially from the vape and it felt indica dominate. Unfortunately this bud seamed like it could be grown with more care but most of their buds seamed to be well grown.

Atmosphere: Well the place has a very nice waiting room for patients waiting to be verified. Then in the back they have a nice Vape lounge witch is free to use with any donation. It had a Big screen TV U shaped couch that wrapped around a nice table where there where several awesome pieces a pipe a few bubbler's, a wicked bong and a Amazing volcano style Vape. Also they had sodas for sale in case you get thirsty and don't want to spend a fortune on Drinkables.

Staff: The staff was very Helpful and compassionate. The bud tender knew where this strain was from and gave me an extra .7 on my 5 Gram 8th for being a new patient. Also the Bud tender helped Me set up and use their Vape.

Convenience: right off the i8 and around the corner. Also easy to find due to large print on window.

Price: Great the Red dragon was 50 for a 5 gram 8th and i walked away with 5.7

I don't understand why people could have any bad experiences or comments for We the People. This co-op offers great benefits, like the frequent buyer card. The buds are AMAZING and once you try the full melt, you'll be wanting to come back every day. Just ask Jason, the budtender, he knows of the best sativas, indicas, and hybrids in the club, not to mention that mouth watering hashish. They set really good prices and weigh heavy, bottom line is: you get what you pay for. Oh and after you pay for your goods, why not take a puff off their custom designed water pieces? A digital volcano vaporizer is for anyone's use and if you havent tried it already you are MISSING OUTTT! Usually anyone there will assist you on how to use it. I know personally that you will come out feeling like a new high. I mean guy...

A. Get a phone. You are (ostensibly) a legitimate business so don't just use an old cell phone number that doesn't work. It sucks not being able to call in and ask about product availability before coming in.

B. Don't smoke cigarettes inside or just outside the door. You provide medicine to patients (although you couldn't tell by the graphics on your frequent buyer card) so try to keep up the facade of respectability by not poisoning the air inside your waiting area.

C. This could just be me, but its in tremendously bad taste to have jars of product visible that are labeled "Not for sale! Don't ask" If its not for sale, then don't display it. Put the jar behind the desk or something. Otherwise I'm left asking myself why my money isn't good enough to buy that product (is it reserved for someone with more skrill, is it the employee stash, hash pile?)

stoped by today and the BT recommended for my painful sleepless nights some Headband Bubble in combination with that platinum OG its a must try folks! i do think they will talk to that smoker and ask then to stop.

Something about this place just sat really well with me. I walked in and my verification was lightning fast. Only one sheet to fill out. The girl behind the front desk was polite enough and the waiting room was HUGE. More space than the few couches, tables and the big screen could take up!

I was let into the bud room/smoking lounge and the decor situation was the same. Huge room, high ceilings, furniture looked tiny in comparison. There was a wall lined with tables(equipped with vaporizers) and chairs along with a set of 3 couches in the corner around a coffee table containing bubblers, bongs, and a vape.

The budtender was attentive, but not very lively, but at least he was friendly and a little chatty. The menu was handwritten kind of sloppily, and it took me a second to figure out what cost what due to the way it was organized.

I asked him to show me his favorite strains and after looking at a few of their top shelf selections, I decided on an 8th of Blueberry Jedi that smelled more like candy than herb. Since it was my first visit, they hooked up 5 bucks off the 8th so I only payed 55 (which was pretty sweet).

Before leaving I decided to rip a quick bowl off this really awesome looking bubbler they had. The Jedi lit up my head and cleared my shakes in two quick hits. Shit is bomb.

They also offer a patient rewards program. Basically you get a card with 6 spots on the side that say (1/8th). After you fill each little spot with a green sticker, you get the 7th free! Your choice! I'd say that's a pretty sweet deal for heavy smokers.

In retrospect, my experience should have registered as sub-par in my eyes. But something about the vibe of the place made this visit seem like it was pretty awesome. It had to be the atmosphere or something. Maybe it was just because I could medicate on site... or maybe it's because the passed few BT's I've had haven't been very helpful or talkative at all.

If you live in or around the college area, this place is definitely worth checking out, if not at least once. I'll be going back at least 5 more times to fill up my card!
