I walked into this place to get a small nug before heading to Napa for the weekend. I walked in and asked the barista if I can go to the dispensary in the back. She gave me this crazy look and said "What dispensary?" I told her to have a nice day and walked out. I felt a little awkward......

I went to this spot, ordered a coffee and asked about the dispensary in their back room. Apparently there is no longer a operating dispensary and they only let students from Oaksterdam back there. The Barista looked confused when I mentioned it as if they have been closed for some time. Instead he directed me to Blue Sky which is right down the street. My rating is based on the iced mocha I got it was pretty good and he took care while making it like it was a work of art.

I think this place is caught in the hype and is not that great of place. Not the coolest set-up in the backroom with the hole in the wall. Bud in binders in alittle wierd for my taste, and it seemed to me that this place was catered more toward the students of Oaksterdam and not patients! I got some Blue dot that was pretty dry and not that tasty. The Budtender was swearing by there Hindu Skunk, which while it was aight, it definetely was not the best strain in the Bay area by no means. I am glad I have checked out the novelty shops in this area, but I would most likely not return to Oakland to find Meds!
