I don't accept excuses... and neither should you. The Dr. at the Oakland Marijuana Medicine Evaluation Centers is great, he looked at my Doctors records asked a few questions, and sent me on my way with my MMJ recommendation in hand.

I called their 800 number ... made an appointment for the next day, Was in and out in under 30 min.

While I had to drive up from the Monterey Peninsula to go the Oakland Marijuana Medicine Evaluation Center located at 556 W. Grand Ave in Downtown Oakland. It was no big deal as I wanted to check out ground zero for the medical marijuana industry in Ca.

Once I received my MMJ recommendation it was off to Blue Sky to pick up some of their med's... (god they suck... no selection) I didn't have time to go over to Harbor Side or I would have.

In any event MMEC verified me for Blue Sky in about 3 min... 24/7/365 verification, this is what matters.

To all of the folks out there looking for the best "Value" for their MMJ $$$ I would strongly suggest MMEC Oakland.

Yeah, based on all of the fly by night medical marijuana doctor's out there trying to compete with MMEC I'm surprised I don't see more fictitious reviews like the guy below. MMEC Oakland's doctor was anything but pompous.

He was kind and understanding to my needs and pain. I called MMEC's toll free number 800 268 4420 made my appointment on a Monday night, by Tuesday afternoon I was at Harbor Side collective to pick out my med's.

If you are looking at getting your medical marijuana recommendation check out MMEC. They only use Ca. Board Certified Doctors... unlike most of the low cost pot doc's.

If you are looking for the real deal go to MMEC...

I was'nt sure what to expect going to MMEC in Oakland. I did a bit of research and these guys kept comming up, so I chose them. I went on 04/20 and they had a lot of patients that day. My appointment was early afternoon and they were running a bit behind, 30 min or so. guy at the front desk was polite and efficient. Dr. Raskin was friendly and engaging. I brought with me past medical records as well as all perscriptions. The Dr. was very thorough and it was a relief to see that not everyone that showed up got their card. It seemed very legitamite. I highly recomend this place to get your perscription if you are on the up and up and not just some kid trying to get high. I can't reiterate how painless the experience was.

Called on a sunday morning at 8am, got an 1120am appointment, stopped at the dispensary on the way home. Easy, simple, understanding. The first time I went to a doctor and did not have to lie thru my teeth about how I treat my pain, what a relief!!!! Quality paperwork provided to carry on your person, legal assistance if needed (hope I never do!!).
I would (and do) recommend them to my friends!!!! Thanks, Doc!!!!
