so 1st time i came i was disappionted by selection. low quality but its sooo close to home so i gave em a couple more trys. i have to admit they got smart and brought in a few new ones that r bomb!!! blackberry bout 90% of the time here is now fire! they had some master kush that was really bomb last time i went but for some reason wasnt on the board idk if it was new or an off the board special.

anyways i would have never recommeded this place before but recent improvments make a big differance so if you havent been in there for a long time give em another try i think you'll change your mind like i did.

Convenience is the only reason I would go back, it is the closest to my home, but I would rather use the gas and take the time to, go further for much better deals.

I like this place because its 5min from the house and all 1/8th are $55, but this place is hit or miss. Yesterday when I stopped by to grab an 1/8th for the night I was sad to see that all they was one kind of bud and only about oz of it. I'm think they're have a bad month or something. But the bud was very stony and my 1/8th weight 5.3

I have been here many times, close to home. Do not be fooled by the 4 gram eighths for 55 poor quality bud all around weak edibles, also found at least 15 small hairs in 1g of keif. just a hit and miss place. cheap cookie for first time patient deal. Joints are full of sess for 7. expect to pay 18/gram 15$grams have seeds in it.

This place is really convenient for me as it is very close to my work! I was in a rush and was just looking for an edible and found a small selection. Compared to other co-ops ive been to this one wasnt very impressive. I will be coming back though since its close to my work! Borderline, this place is avg.

I hope the recent down-turn in quality isn't a new feature. The cap with 4 grams with 1/8ths you can split between two choices was awesome, but it has been a bit weak lately. I suspect that the price cap, quantity given, and proximity to Cal State Long Beach will ensure them a steady stream of new clients regardless. And the ref policy is major pain in the ass as someone whose been there plenty of times.

I reviewed 55 Caps a few weeks ago regarding my first time visit. I went back the other day and I ended up not getting anything - I was a little disappointed. First off, I'm told at the window that I need to start bringing my original Dr's recommendation with me every time I come in. I'm more cool with the clubs that have you bring your letter the first time, and then not there-after. I've got my drivers license ID, my Dr's ID card, and my LA County/State MMIP Card and they also want me to bring my original letter, I aint gonna do it. I prefer to keep my original letter in a safe place, and thats at home, the only time it comes out is when I'm going to a club for the first time.

Anyways, the always nice Miranda let me in the back to check out the bud. Again, like my last visit, they had limited supply, there was 11 strains up on the board, but of the 11 jars on the counter, 4 of them were empty. And of the 7 jars that had meds, 4 of those looked like they'd been keifed out (also like my last visit). Like I said, I didnt get anything, and I was a little disappointed. I probably won't be back. Sorry 55Caps.

My buddy Marc & I visited 55 Caps last night on the 26th. We were verified in about two minutes and were then invited in the back. There we met up with Miranda, who showed us their bud selection. I was digging the Sour Purple and Marc thought the Afgoo smelled amazing. We ended up getting a gram of the Sour Purple, and Miranda hooked us up with a fat sack. The total was only $18, which was chill! The Sour Purple nugs were very soft, almost like velvet, and had a great green hue. The buds smelled earthy on the outside & very sweet inside. The smoke was a little harsh, but no coughing persisted. I liked how the Sour Purple tasted just like it smelled: sweet & a bit fruity. To top it all off, I experienced an immediate head high that had me spacing out for the rest of the evening. The Sour Purple was a great choice; the bud tasted pretty good & the high was strong. easy parking, fast documentation, first-time free edible - though i talked them into giving me a free gram of orange-kush because i prefer not to partake of edibles. 55cap down to 40, 4gram eighths, limited selection, i counted 8 types of flowers, excellent to ok to so-so, some of the jars were empty. limited edibles (not much in the small refrigerator), concentrates also limited - looked like good bubble hash. you can mix eighths, 13th eighth is free, nice young lady behind the counter, my mixed eighth of purple-widow and super-jack weighed out to 4.4grams (thanks!), they weigh it out in front of you. the young lady was very helpful and seemed to enjoy her job. the 2 dudes working seemed like they'd rather have been somewhere else. the purple-widow was fire and was for-sure worth it. the orange-kush looked pretty ragged, the super-jack was ok. this place is a no-frills spot.

i went in yesterday and was looking to pick up on some really bomb buds hoping that they got new buds in. but they didnt and the sour diesel they called "fire" was not very satisfying. kinda dissapointed.

This place was easy to find just on the other side of Woodruff and the huge green plus sigh helps. Ok it is a small waiting room. Verification was a snap. The reason I gave the staff a 3 was the budtender was preoccupied with something on his mind, so there was a couple times I had to repeat myself, but he did help me and aplogized. The Green Crack was fire and the Pink Maui was delicious. Thanks for the 1/2 gr instead of the edible for first time.

Bottomline this is a good spot. $55 cap and the 1/8ths are weighed out at 4 grams. The cap is perfect and the buds where nice. I will be back. These are things I look for in a collective and they have it: quality, quantity, and price.

Marc and I visited 55 Caps Collective last night because it's the closest clinic to his house and they always have something dank to offer. We were verified quickly and then invited to the back. Unfortunately, about half of the strains on the board had sold out, leaving us to choose from about twelve of them. I asked to check out the Master Kush, God's Gift, and Sticky OG which were all $18 grams. The Master Kush at this dispensary has never looked unappealing to me; last night, the nugs were perfectly cured and very frosted. The God's Gift was not looking so great; the buds were dried out and hardly had any trichomes on them. I asked the budmaster how she liked the Sticky OG and she had nothing but complements. After feeling the flowers, I knew what she was talking about! This stuff was STICKY! And it smelled just like an OG should: very potent, dank, and thick. I chose to get a gram of the Sticky OG. Once we got back to Marc's, we smoked the Sticky in our Illadelph. It had a piney smell, a heavy taste, and it hit very smooth on the throat. The high came very quick, and literally targeted me between the eyes. Damn it was a strong OG, I was impressed!
I gave Bud Quality a 4/5 because they didn't have very many top shelf strains. Atmosphere and Staff get full five stars because, well, both aspects of the clinic are awesome! I gave Convenience a 3 outta 5 because they didn't have that many strains to chose from in the first place, which is definitely not good for business. Last, Price flies high with five stars because I'm always down for danky grams under $20. The only improvement I'd recommend is stocking up more for the weekend crowds. Thanks 55 Cap

I've been to a few dispensaries since i got my recommendation. 55 Caps is my place! 4 gram 1/8ths everyday and the selection is always good. Verification is quick and the staff is always pretty cool...My only complaint...well not really a complaint but they typically weigh out in front of you which is a big deal for me but the last few times I've gotten a pre-weighed bag...I guess thats just a personal thing...All around though...GREAT!!!!!
