I am going to check out a few more clubs in SF before I say it's the best in SF for sure, but... I went and checked out this club today and I have to say not bad, not bad at all... The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place looks very slick... They have a good selection and I have to say the edibles looked good. I was going to get this really yummy looking cupcake, but they didn't have it in stock, bummer next time... The edibles I did get are good, the butterscotch candy taste good and got me feeling great in no time... I am looking forward to trying the brownies and fruit drink I bought... If I can't get across the bay to my favorite club (Harborside), I am going to head back here... This club could be SF's answer to Harborside (on a smaller scale) once they get the health services going??? The free gift for first timers is an added bonus...

ok maybe dumb is a little harsh, but seriously compared to some of the places ive been that charge up to 60 an 8th, this place is the best hand down. first off its 4 gs for the 8th all day! and all of the strains they have look and smell great! IM SERIOUS there was probably only one that i didnt care much for. and i really spent about 15 mins tryin to decide on what i wanted. they had about 10-12 strains that day so i was in luck. long story short, i got 2 8ths one of GDP(50$) that doesnt look as great as their last GDP but it sure does taste delicious, and the other of some master og kush(60$) which i am also very pleased with. and i had to get some grams to try out so i grabbed a gram of purple erkle and mr. master kush, they weighted me out a 1.2 of the erkle and when i checked at home the other gram was 1.1 and both 8ths were 4.2 each! now its not hard to tell why i really love this place. the staff is always as nice as can be, honestly from the doormen to the ladys. and keep in mind they have a bell, some tard was at the door and was bangin hella loud like an idiot

60$ even for there best and gave me a free gram for being a new guy umm the bud was very good and it was 4.0 so ya

Had an excellent first time visit when I went there last month. Very friendly young-lady checked me in and I copped an 8th of the Casey Jones and they threw in a first time patient gift. The Casey Jones was perfect for J's when I was at Love Fest. The 4g's is very nice and the price is more then fair. Would most definitely be back the next time I'm in the Bay. I remembered they had some good looking but $$$ hash and a fair amt. of edibles. I still remember and regret not trying the NL x Bubba Ku they had that looked like and smelled like fire and I am sure it was excellent but Casey J is hard to get in So Cal so I had to get something I don't see very often.

I love the selection, all the eighth’s are 4 gram eighths, brilliant!!!!!!!!, quality is excellent, no one is pushy there. They let you take your time, and the atmosphere is very friendly. Definitely my favorite place to go. I drive all the way from the peninsula just to get the quality nug and comfortable atmosphere. Thanks boys, Best in the city!!!!!!

I found good quality and an adequate selection. It is a good location, very public and only slightly seedy (par for the course right?)

I got the Grandaddy Purple for night time medication and Blue Dream as my less drowsy day smoke. They were the two best cures (best smell, low moisture) in the whole case without a doubt, which is my primary measure of quality. The GDP nugs were uber tight and downright crunchy in texture - so dense.

The selection was ample, but only a few of the strains were cured WELL and possessed the smell and texture I'm after. Other clubs in the city definitely have a lot more in the top-shelf pure sativas that I'm looking for.

The decor is a bit overdone, I got the feeling the buds weren't the priority and there was more of a focus on atmosphere.

I really like the staff. Friendly, welcoming, courteous.

I will go back for the high quality usuals like GDP if they keep up the quality, but I plan to sample more shops for some exotic meds and pure sativas.

(p.s. the free sample they handed out was CLEARLY reject weed, very green and fresh and totally uncured, and not even that good if it was cured properly! A free sample should be a way to showcase something special, not unload your unsellable product.)

After my first review, i managed to visit this club another 4 times already. Let me say this, they improved a lot since they first open. My first time i had a great time, but now, this place is becoming almost my #1 club in SF. Vapor room is still my Number 1. Each time i visit this place, they always remember me, greet me, and are so nice. They seem to always have some killer a$$ cannabis. They have even updated their website due to my request. They now list there current inventory on their website. Check it out if you havent. I recently emailed them asking if they could update the website and within a week, they did so. Great customer service if you ask me.

I managed to get some White widow today which was KILLLL, but i wish i could have gotten the displayed one instead of the last 8th which was all small nugs. I did even ask the worker who knows me well if i could get the display one cause that one was FIREEEEE but he said they have to sell the last one first. Was pretty upset. Non the less, the white widow was still some dank

In the past since my last review, i also managed to get some Gods gift x OG Kush= Goush og which was fantastic, some KC-Jones, pot of gold, and love potion.

i have been to a few a places here in San Francisco, but medithrive has to be the most professional clean and friendly spot i have been to. i was verified when i walked in, took about 2 mins. they gave me a patient# then i was able to check out their dispensary. the same beautiful girl that verified me was my budtender, they try to keep 10-15 strains but they said it was a busy weekend and i was there a little late so they had about 6 left, the chemdogg smelled so tasty they also had brownies, cookies for like $6, and they had hash. i got an 8th of their GDP, Ive never heard of elephant(purple) but she said it was dank and it looked dam good too so i got a gram of that and some blue dream. she gave me a few samples i cant remember what kind they were but they put me to sleep which was good bcuz i had a long day. i will always try to stop by when im in SF. and i was lucky enough to get parking rite infront. you gotta visit them!!!

This dispensary is a true testament to the evolution of the cannabis dispensary over the last few years. Everything about Medithrive is top-notch. My experience went something like this...

I walked into the facility and was immediately impressed with the atmosphere and feel. Rich wood, brilliant lighting, moss accents, spotless surfaces, and an opaque marijuana window are all the more inviting to the patient. I was quickly verified with the friendly staff member at the front desk and then was whisked away to the peruse the long counter topped with jars of fine looking meds. The beautiful girl at the counter invited me to touch, smell, and feel all of the medications to my heart's desire. If I had any questions it would be easy to chat with her for a bit!

The selection was just right for me. There were about 10 strains, all of which were very nice looking. Some people like more selection, but was easier for me to make a choice with fewer options. I picked out the Goo, which looked amazing and smelled equally impressive. It looked like it had been coated with powdered sugar! The price was pretty standard at $50+tax, but considering it was a 4.2g 1/8th of that quality, I felt I had gotten a steal. They also have some discount cards that you can take for your friends or for future use, so I was sure to grab some of those on my way out.

Overall, Medithrive is a really great place. I am currently enjoying my meds very much and will be back as soon as I'm out!

So let me get on with the show. When you get off the BART train on 16th Street in San Francisco and you get off on the East side next to the Walgreens. Walk up Mission toward 15th and just 10 yards away is MediThrive. I arrived 10 days after what must have been their Grand Opening. That would have made that date. 09/09/09 which in the grand scheme of things sounds very appropriate for any Grand Opening.

The location at 1933 Mission use to be another Dispensary not too long ago. But this place is above and beyond the tiny hole in the wall of its predisor. Filled with glass wall and light and the rich hues of nature. This Dispensary is shining jewel is the "Clubs" South of Market. Once you step in it seems warm and comforting, within the back wall which is stained in a deep rich walnut, there is living moss growing along the wall. It makes the place brilliant and glowing, making the who place and experience vibrant.

The staff I ran into that night were helpful and proud of their new outlet and well they should be. The medicine is displayed within jars where you may inspect the the samples for its look, smell and feel. When you have chosen your kind it is given to you in a tin for freshness. There is a small variety of strains and price structure. Two basic sizes and two types of prices for the same. The prices are moderate to expensive but the freshness and the quality of the medicine is excellent and worth the price. Tax is charged and not included in the price but you are provided with a receipt and you can see what you were charged for the tax.

This place is the premier establishment on Mission Street and it should be and will be one of your favorite places in not time. Take the time to go and visit.

By far the best dispensary in SF. After checking out a stack of places, I've found my dispensary. The staff were the nicest I've ever spoken with at a dispensary. I actually enjoyed talking to them. Their facility itself is spotless and high tech. All strains have pricing displayed on a mounted TV. The presentation of the buds is fantastic. All buds come in _really_ nice storage tins that contain the strain labelled clearly on top. I'm an edibles fan, and their range of edibles is fantastic. I had a cupcake which tasted fantastic, and gave me a great buzz.

This is the only club I'll be going to from here in.

Been to all the Cannabis dispensary in SF. This is a brand new club that just opened today 9/8/09. I was the very first patient. Very clean cut dispensary. Very impressed with this club. They had many strains all for about $45 to $50 an 8th. They had many strains but i managed to cop King Henry OG and Gold Rush, both are superb after trying it out now.=]. Fantastic. They also have a sale at the moment since its grand openeing, you get 4.2 grams for every 8th. They also gave me a flyer with .5 gram of a indica, and a .5 gram of a sativia. I loved this club. Definitely recommend. Many other strains they had were: Blue Dream, MSM Mr Nice Guy, Trainwreck, Summertime Grand Daddy, and many more. Check out their website. Its the bomb.
