I love paydays, justcant wait to go in, they always seem to get new goodies in on friday mornings or thursday nights. I'm like a kid in a candy store, except Its way better.

If you are like me and drove all over denver visiting dispensary after dispensary trying to find that perfect place then look no further than Denver Relief. This place has by far the best buds in the city. The buds are always perfectly cured, dried, and manicured. And the quality of all the strains they carry is in the upper echelon of mmj. If you love diesel and all the hybrids containing chemdawg this is the place to go. The Bio Diesel is amazing and has quickly become my favorite strain. Recently they also had some Headband that was phenomenal. The Dopium is delicious and the Blue Dream they carry is the best i've found. You cant go wrong with whatever you pick here so try them all. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. They actually know what they are talking about when it comes to their product. The manager Kayvan (sorry if i spelled it wrong) is a really cool and helpful guy. Overall this place is pretty much everything you want concerning top quality marijuana, great staff, and a clean relaxing environment. GO here if you know what's good for you!!!

I would like to say that my lack of frequent updates should in no way reflect on the quality of the bud, it is just a very long drive and due to anxiety long drives in unfamiliar areas are not my specialty. However, factors came together that enabled me to journey to this lovely place once again and pickup 3 strain and some hash. As time permits, I'll update with reviews of each of them.

Bio Diesel (Sour Diesel X Sensi Star) [I assume very special phenotypes of each]
Originally when I first visited DR, the Bio Diesel was sold out each time I came. Recently I saw on the website that it is back in stock and I was eager to try the award winning strain. I want to say that Bio Diesel is probably one of the best buds i've ever had, but that is a very long list. I will say that for testing purposes i usually have 2 small bowls and i only had 1 of bio diesel. It just seemed to hit soo strong and each hit piled on with equal force as the last, no diminishing returns. I felt that kick that indicas give initially, then the intense diesel head effects, then as 5-10min pass more of that indica body-knockout encompassed me. I definitely would say that initially it just seemed like some really good bud but nothing standout until the sensi star creeped in. Then i understood why it won the award b/c it just hits you from every angle in a major way! visual change, , intensely sped-up thought patterns, alertness in the mind while body locked down. I could go on and on and wow now its not even more expensive than normal strains.

Hashberry (Californian indica x kashmiri [landrace])
What an amazing taste whoever wrote the description really nailed it on that part you could just smell the jar for a long time and not get sick of it. The effect is strong Indica stone with added intense "up" feeling from within leaving you looking/feeling extremely happy. Although Bio-D may be more potent and have a wilder array of effects, I personally enjoy the Hashberry high more. It just makes me feel extremely happy in an almost 'unreal' way and the effects are all at once no creeper parts to it the second u exhale/cough u got an idea of how powerful this strain is. I would like to add that it got rid of the pain of which I inquired about prior to purchasing. :)

Bio diesel earwax [concentrate]
I applied a small drop with a paperclip and flame on top of a bowl of Bio-diesel. Upon the first hit I could tell another layer of extremely potent smoke on top of it and when it kicked in at first it was just another added intensity over the existing Bio-D high but as time went by, well, lets just say this made my eyes really red and that hasnt happened since pre-2000 and I definitely had that 'back in the day' feel. I look forward to tryin more bio-D earwax on different strains to maybe get a better idea of the effects of the concentrate specifically.

Dopium (Sour Diesel X Chemdawg)
Wow what a unique feeling! This bud is just like a jolt of energy and makes your mind borderline cybernetic with its speed and efficiency. At first its just a little uplifting sativa spark but soon you are engulfed in an intense,speedy,cerebral-would-be-an-understatement type of bud. Id like to add that visually this is probably the best bud i've ever seen. It's like the sour diesel with even BIGGER calyxs and more swollen pod on pod structure. This bud is soo white with crystals its almost unreal. Similar to the Bio-D only 1 small bowl was all i needed to get a STRONG effect. I've always thought chemdawg was a far stronger plant than sour diesel when it comes to potency, so the crossing of the two is really a wonderful experience. Even as I sit typing the buzz keeps increasing more and more, fun times indeed.

I've been to several dispensaries and DR is the best.
Best medicine and customer service by far,the girls up front are very welcoming and give out a good vibe. Adam the budtender remembered my name after only being there once!(been there several times since)they made me feel welcome and very relaxed, also I've been to other places in where I've felt rushed by the budtender, not here :D
I'm all about quality and DR has it, I only wish they had a location in Summit county....

Their product is the BEST. Everything is now capped at $50 for patients and it is all top shelf A+ meds. The bio-diesel wax is where it's at though with a whopping 62% THC content. I also recommend the hash suckers. Both the indica and sativa suckers will tingle your taste buds, and they are very potent as well. A small piece goes a long way. There is always a wide selection of nugs to choose from and, like I said, it is all the highest of quality product around!!

After seeing a video strain review on some of the meds this place has to offer I made it a point to come check them out. I stopped in last Saturday and was not disappointed.
When I first walked in I was greeted by a cute young lady (kinda looked like Shannyn Sossamon), who asked if I had been in before. I said no so she asked for my papers and asked me to fill out their packet. There were three people in line ahead of me but by the time I finished my packet it was a two minute wait.
A tall curly haired fellow opened a door escorted me back. The bud tender (forget his name) was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable of their strains' genetics and effects, making my decision easy. Everything was designed and planned very well and had a very professional atmosphere. The dividers in the green room are a great touch allowing multiple customers to be served simultaneous while maintaining privacy. Each cubical has a box with samples of all the strains and a 20x handheld microscope, and if you prefer to see it in the jar they'll let you.
All the strains looked excellent (far better than what I'm used to seeing in Colorado Springs). I got one eighth, half Bio-Diesel and half Outerspace. And was escorted back out. As we were leaving I asked :" Where am I paying for this?". We did an about face went back to the green room to pay and then went on my merry way. I must say that any time I'm in Denver I'll be stopping in here they are by far the best I've been to yet and if I lived in Denver I know I'd be changing my caregiver.

Outerspace: Outer Space is a Sativa dominant Hybrid. Its effect is cerebral and creative. It has a musky (kinda like doo doo) citrus odor and is a very smooth smoke. Perfect for appetite stimulation and as a daytime medicine.

Bio-Diesel: Bio-Diesel is a 50/50 Hybrid. It's covered in trichomes and has that typical Sour Diesel look. The calyxes are HUGE but the coloring is darker green and purple much like a good Sensi Star. It's smell is pungent and skunky (Sour D) but has that coffee like Indica undertone with a very slight hint of citrus. On inhale I taste indica and the Sensi Star on exhale it's straight diesel. The effect is immediate and cerebral with a slow indica effect that creeps up on you. with effects lasting a good two hours.

Their quality of product and service cannot be matched. If you like great people and a laid back friendly staff then this is the place to go. The Bio-Diesel and Blue dream are great strands that stand up to the best of the best.

I have been on many ventures, to many dispensarys around our great city, and i gotta say DR is where i put to rest my search for premium care. Lets start with bud quality. You will honestly have trouble deciding on what to choose. It seems they have something great for any ailment. It would be wise to go with the Bio D just because it is rather the obvious choice. Great to the nose, great flavor, and great buzz will smooth anyones ruffled feathers in a most enjoyable way. The care, and time they have put into the D, as well as all their buds is quite evident. The atmosphere is great! Very clean, and professional setting with awsome security system so you feel at ease. I found it rather reassuring that they have the business set up in a adult, professional mannor. It really shows that they spare no expense to have happy patients. The staff is very cool. I think they are genuine, and are generally happy to see you come in. Every patient knows the sketch dispensay all too well, and this place is the polar opposite of that my friends. They are very knowledgeable, and know what the meds are capable of. The description Kayvann gave me on the Bio D was spot on, exactly the way he said it would be. That gave me more peace of mind that i had chose the right place for my mmj needs. The price is also very fair. They are competitive with the market, and you get the most for your money with DR. So, i dont know whey your still reading when you could be driving to see the whole gang and DR...as well as some delicious BIO D.....Well???.....Get going...... is 100% incorrect. the genetics are not even the same. the bio diesel at denver relief as of now is the ONLY one of its phenotype. buy the knock of shit if you want but its not even from the same parents. happy smoking!!!!

lets start with bud quality. if i could give this ten stars i would. adam is one of the most skilled growers in the industry, and the branded strains are proof of that. bio-diesel is literally a kick in the balls for a smoker with ANY tolerance. it looks/smells fucking amazing and it smokes like a damn dream. next, the outer space. i have never seen nugs this big. this cross is delish for daytime, always good to have around. denver relief's blue dream is also unique. the clone only dj-short blueberry is one of the haziest, greatest highs. they also have durban, so so so good. havnt smoked much of the buddhas sister but cant be much of a disappointment. they have like 5 other strains right now and some really good ones coming in. personally cant wait for the headband. the shit is always cured to perfection, and the lower prices make it even dumber to go to any other center in town. the shake they sell is better than the top meds at the competing dispensaries.

atmosphere: i have been to a fair share of dispensaries and this place is not only renovated to have the perfect layout for such transactions, but its one of the cleanest. some of the places on broadway are so shady..just walking up i get a bad feeling which is definitely not the case here. they also just hung up this awesome canvas print of bio-diesel which is some of the prettiest nug porn i have ever seen. this place is nice because they dont make it feel like a thing to be ashamed of, and its not awkward. the place is pretty professional, but the guys are laid back so its nice.

as for the staff, couldnt ask for better. those guys seriously know their shit. hosting up to like 12 strains at a time, they always know exactly what will work best. they are pretty adament on bringing paperwork everytime, so heads up, but its really nice because if you lose yours, they print you new copies. i have no idea how many patients they have but they seem to always know names and remember details about my last visit which is really nice. they are totally in-the-know about new laws and they do all this stuff for the

i might be biased on convenience because i live ten minutes away but if you are familiar with the area and broadway being a one-way, getting there is a sinch.

the slightely higher prices were 100% justified in that i was buying the best stuff in colorado, but they just lowered them which makes it even harder to walk out of there with any money.


this isnt on the list, but the edibles are so so tasty. actually strong, consistent, and made with hash instead of shake/plant material.

So I went to DR for the first time last week, and let me say that I will be going back every time I'm in Denver. The location is easy to find if you're comin from i70, the establishment is nice and clean, just what a dispensary should look like, very classy.
The staff was very helpful and acommodating, I felt a little strange at first with DR being next to "the cop shop" but at tha same time I couldn't think of a better location, I felt very secure, not like some other places where you feel like you might get mugged as you're walking out with meds in hand.
I tried the outer space and blue dream, both were great! Outer space is really out there!, I look forward to trying the bio and dopium. The only reason why I gave them a 4 in convenience is because I live in summit county. I recommend this place to everybody.

I would like to mention that many times us customers see a strain at a lower price and assume it is there because it is inferior. This is ***NOT*** the case at Denver Relief. Don't be surprised if you personally end up liking a $50 strain over the $60. They really are only put at a lower price due to kindness,quantity and nothing more.

I will list the strains i have sampled thus far and are all available now as far as i know. All testing is done on a clean glass spoon as i feel a dry glass hit gives u the best feel for the various aspects of a strain, and to serve as a controlled variable. Normal smoking is filtered through water for comfort.

[Blue Dream] excellent blueberry flavor with a very "hazey" up effect but combined with just enough indica from the blueberry to keep you very relaxed at the same time extremely "up" you will see where the famous Haze gets its name from as your vision gets enveloped in a "hazey" distortion

[Death Star] I have not tried the bio-diesel yet I am told it is MUCH stronger. Death Star has an excellent diesel taste but with an added boldness from the SensiStar's lemony flavor. the high is like a less potent sour diesel combined with a ton of indica stone but it is actually quite nice kind of like a night time diesel IMO

[Gumbo] a VERY heavy indica . something about the flavor all over the various internet forums you can find tons of commentary regarding "bubblegum" and how no one can find one that truly tastes like bubblegum.. Well Gumbo truly tastes like bubblegum, the first hit tastes like it, the 2nd, even the ashy last hit of the bowl has bubblegum hints to it.. Instant extremely heavy effect

[Sour Diesel] Best Sour D i've ever had and i urge everyone out there who is a fan of sour D to try a truly quality specimen of it. Don't worry they grew this properly no plethora of white-hairs like many sour D's going around. this is the real deal. instant burst of energy to mind and body , head remains totally clear

[Heavy Duty Fruity] As I said don't judge a bud by its price this is some truly excellent cannabis. Although , my nostrils could not find a pure fruit flavor more like a dried/rotten fruit but it is truly somethin to experience. The effect is just an instant burst euphoria of the Mind and Body at once. The only Drawback i could think of is the effect isnt quite as long as some of the other strains but definitely as potent.

[Cough] a very hazey,spicey smelling bud. the onset is very odd and not like a normal cannabis onset. sorry hard to explain so i wont try. You gain a TON of energy but not clear-headed 90-100% sativa energy b/c the NL in the cross does its thing. Its like a lot of crazy energy u can literally feel it balling up within you as you get surges. the name fits as well it is not a harsh smoke by any means but the properties of the smoke and the "sting" from the haze will equate to a pleasant cough nothing uncomfortable

[Durban Poison] I really think a lot will be turned off by seeing "Tier 2" maybe they should move this to weekly special because this sativa is just as strong as any of the others they have, maybe even more so. within a few seconds colors become brighter, even auditory hallucinations may occur, an intense "up" feeling and a taste that is to DIE for. Props to whoever wrote the bud desription on the website cuz they nailed it on this one. I am told there is no 'ceiling' to this bud although I have only experimented with small dosages thus far.

[Outer Space] MMM a nighttime sativa because it is soo strong i don't think you could be very active on this one. My tolerance is pretty strong so i wouldnt say its a 1 hitter but that 2nd and 3rd hit you have to build up some courage for :) lovely musky scent and a scary-sativa-with-tons-of-crystals taste if that makes sense. very creative high where you are zoned out enough to be creatively thining about your surroundings but sped up and focused enough that your imagination and minds eye are going wild . Ever since getting my card and reading "trippy" on seed descriptions and being let down, this is truly a "trippy" strain and it helped me understand that "trippy" does not mean visual hallucination but a spark of imagination and cerebral throughput which leads to massive internal dialog but with enough clarity and focus that it is easy to get lost in your thoughts. You truly see nothing as it was before on this medicine .

[Apollo 11/13(?)] very crisp clear energetic buzz with a sharp layer that envelopes the mind so subtley that you dont feel it "hit" you like normal bud . Often when talking of different strains as if they are unique in effect it is hard to understand that 2 different sativa dominant strains can have subtle nuances that can make them feel almost as different as an indica dominant strain would. This obviously goes back to the landrace but with that knowledge not easily attainable the strain with a similar buzz to this is C99 which makes sense seeing as tho C99 or it's parents are part of the genetics for Apollo11/13. I enjoyed this strain for its diversity but I know some patients do not like the sharp clear speedy buzz of C99/Apollo. It's not a "comfortable" buzz but it's very fun if you know how to make it work for you :)

[Sweet and Sour Diesel] strangely enough this smells,tastes,looks,feels nothing like sour diesel or anything "sweet". However, that's not entirely a bad thing. This is a highly unique strain with a earthy sativa purple taste and i thought it would be mild due to the description saying "mellow" but it is far from mild, i found it to be just as potent as the others but the effect does make u highly medicated to the point where all life feels mellowed out perhaps that is what was meant. I guess lower price at DR means "must try"

[Flo] A rich-full smell/taste that I personally don't think I could describe in words. I guess "floral" kind of works. Very motivational sativa buzz combined with relaxing indica comfort . Very good hybrid strain. Full Dense buds cured perfectly caked in crystals. According to most sources this is sort of a "blend" of various DJ short strains and landraces, including blueberry, purple thai, afghan , and some others that escape memory. It is deceivingly strong not in the creeper sense but the smoke does not feel like the smoke of a very potent bud does, but within a few hits u end up puttin some of the bud u took out back into the jar.

[Chocolope Hash] Wow I just added a few tiny snakes at diff layers of a bowl of apollo having just had a plain apollo bowl 3 hrs ago and i can definitely feel the chocolope's influence in the flavor/smell the flavor has a creamy cocoa aspect to it while the smell is a sharp spicey chocolate candy smell.
this is the kind of hash u can just stare into space for hours never getting bored for a second as your mind is bombarded with euphoric impulses, very creative and cerebral . Big fan of chocolope bud so this hash is quite a treat for those that crave that classic chocolate thai high in a condensed form.

[Purple Urkel Hash] I just added a few tiny specs onto a bowl of some random indica and a wave of heavy stone swept over me shortly after. Very good stress relief and i found myself couch locked zoning out for 15min at a time with no concept of time. Nice spicey purple smell and the flower i used was very strong in flavor so hard to fully detect the flavor but i could tell the overall makeup of the smoke was different than that fllower usually. It's cool to think that a bunch of dank beautiful purple urkel buds were condensed into a little block and when u smell/taste its just like you would imagine. Im a novice to this form of hash, more used to kief but I can't wait to try future strains in a condensed form :)

I urge you.. try Denver Relief! these are the way the strains are meant to be..

I will start off saying that you will not find better quality meds in colorado that are being sold at DR. Some places i've been i've seen some pretty poor excuses for meds from to wet or not cured enough, and even selling said stuff at insane prices. I've seen places make up names for their meds and if it does'nt sell they will change the name and hope it sells next week. I've been treated poorly lied and fed so much bullshit by many dispensaries in denver and surrounding areas like the staff thinks the can just shove lies down my throat like i've never bought Meds before. Growing meds is a science and not everyone is cut out for it there are so many variables that can all change with each strand of meds.

Which brings me to Denver Relief. All meds from DR are grown by the same guys that work there and from the moment you break into even there least expensive med you can tell the love and devotion that is put into each and every batch. You will never get anything that is not perfectly(and thats for lack of a better word cause these guys cure and flush the meds for 2-3 weeks which is a beautiful thing) grown. Never have i been displeased with the quality. The only thing people can complain about is the price(find and greatly superior bud than the $50 buddah's sister or any of the weekly specials for that matter) which when you try the $60 bud you'll see where the money went to. Yes you can buy some of the same strains at other dispenses but ive rarely seen better growers and connoisseurs than the guys at DR. There's something for everybodys taste at DR from the edibles to the buds, oils to hash. I personally have'nt met the animal with the tolerance to crush the bio-diesels supreme buzz. If your looking for Good meds sure you can tour colorado and its hundreds of dispensaries in search of the perfect bud and down the road with a lot less money and a spinning head wondering what happened you'll eventually find yourself back at DR were nothing you leave with will every leave you with second thoughts.

With bud quality aside which we all know is number one to a buyer, one thing denver relief also does very well is in customer service. The staff at DR are all very knowledgeable and are very happy to assist in all your needs. The is something very refreshing to go in to a store(any store) and be treated with respect and kindness and not like a money machine that walks in the door only to be viewed as a sale to to hell with you. The staff at DR are extremely friendly and will go out of there way to take care of you and you personal needs and that is one of the major influences for me in going to DR and even eventually assigning them to be my caregiver and ive never looked back.

But don't take my word for it which i know is hard. Go in and see for yourself, from the moment you will walk in the door you will be pleased. The Store is very professional, clean, and nice and same can be said about the staff and even more so about the buds. So stop in get the special and watch your pain go up is smoke.

I've had some of the bio d, buddha's sister, apollo, sweet and sour diesel, gumbo, heavy duty fruity and some others and they are all some of the best buds I've had. Always 100% cured, tasty goodness. I also had indica watermelon suckers. They are very potent and delicious on the palette. And same with the lemon sativa candies. They sell T.H.Chocolate's, too. The peanut butter hash chocolates are so good. Denver Relief is also the most safest place with the most helpful and friendly people. They will take care of you for sure
