After going to a million scary places in S.D, Im so happy to find a place in my area that is professional and isnt run by a bunch of young stoners. I went in this morning after driving around for 2 hours looking for one thats still open, and im so happy I cam across Holistic Cafe. The girl in the front was full of smiles and even offered me coffee (who else does that!) and the guys in the back were informative and didnt make me feel like they just wanted to me to get in and out. I went home with an eighth of the Chocolate Haze for only 35, and a gram of the presidential og just to try the private reserve (a little pricey but worth ever penny). Im sort of new to all this so they were both very patient with me and let me look and smell everything, made me feel very welcome. After medicating, Im happy to say I dont feel ripped off and am very impressed. All thanks to the two guys in the back, best first experience ever. And the guy with the sweet beard (sorry dont know the first name)really knows his stuff! See you guys soon

This place was incredible. When you walk in at first it almost looks like u walked into the wrong place cuz it looked so nice, receptionist was very nice and helpful. the wait was little long because there wer a good amount of people waiting before me and they only allow 3 people in the back at a time which wasnt a big deal to me. the waiting area was really nice everyone was talking to each other. The back room is really well set up and the two girls behind the counter wer really cute especially the blond one. They give me a free pre role since i was a new patient. They had the menues all set up for people to look through while they wait. I got the white widow it was only 18 donation which was cheap. i smoke i little after i bought it but it was just a little peace because i had work, but just that little peace had me buzzin.


I would defenintly reccomend this place.

I would have loved to review your shop, But it was a waste of my time since it's 21 and up only... Would be nice for you guys to state that On weedmaps.

First, the quality is great, and you get what you pay for. That is to say, don't come here if you're hoping to score a deal on something. The atmosphere and the dudes helping behind the counters give me the impression of being in a head shop, however, and I don't really like that. Personal preference. Also, parking is sort of a pain, but they do validate in the bank's underground lot. My hope is that they stay open!

Holistic Cafe has essentially the same buds without the $50 cap. Got some really good OG LA Confidential from there last week, but it wasn't worth $70 an 1/8, especially after waiting 20 minutes in their lobby; I won't stop in on my way home from work again. Didn't know about the parking options, which is why I'm not slamming them for that; that was a bitch. Of the places I have tried out since all the recent closures, though, this is the best so far, even if they do seem more expensive. It's the only one of them that warrants a return visit.

Whent in to this place a couple of days ago and liked it
very much! The place was pretty easy to get to the staff was pretty
cool. The bud tender was freindly and knowledgeable. The edibles are great
and got a hash cone that was awesome will be going back for sure!

I bought a Bubba pre 98 Clone several months and it has flowered outdoors under the southern california sun the buds mature super fast in 8 weeks its done! Buds are very heavy and have a very good taste is an excellent producer. This place is in a unique part of town locals know what i am talking about Hillcrest area....this is an good place to add good stock to your garden.

Was not expecting my bud to be pre kiefed...the glass jar told that tale..the free on they gave me...there are literally no tri chomes in my jar..and one to two hairs from this bud. I got an 1/8th of platinum og..it smoked alright(made me cough a bit more than normal platinum og ) but did not smell like a real og made me feel like I wasted my money. I came here to buy a ticket for an event. I was not offered a look at the bud before buying..noticed it was all tiny buds in the jar too.. Lesson learned. I was a first time patient.. The only saving grace was the cool girl at the desk..leaving my purse at the desk with security was not comforting to me..leaving their location to go hunt for an ATM with my SCIATICA flaring up did nothing for me either...so in all they apologized for having me walk around looking for an ATM... gave me a glass jar for a first time visit...took 15 minutes to check in..and the tickets I came for and kept asking them about to begin with ...they were clueless in the front as to if they even had them...even when the security gaurd went in back...and came back out. The door to this place is very heavy...so if you have back problems etc..will be a pain as well. I have been to other places with the ATM down and they at least throw you a free joint..especially when your obviously in pain..overall..I will only go here if I need a very small amount of medicine..you will have to probably spend 60 bucks here to get "decen" bud but look at it before you leave..and visit during the day...maybe you will have better luck.

visits have gotten better, try this place out if your in the area.

Came in yesterday during power hour and got a half g of some fire Super Sour Diesel Hash. Ian was definitely on point with that. Soooo cerebral and heady. Good thing I grabbed up the last of it. It was weighed out heavy for only $22! Staff is always chill and very knowledgeable. Meds are always of the highest quality.

A great place that seems to be a pioneer in this medicinal marijuana movement. Top shelf quality, friendly staff, and my favorite Sour White :].

This isn't necessarily the most convenient dispensary for me to visit, but the quality and customer service keeps me coming in with a frequency. Rich is an amiable gangster and weed connoisseur. He keeps his customers highly informed, and I always leave knowing that I've gotten my money's worth. Really, the whole staff are lovely people. Keep up the great work!

I like the Holistic Cafe the most out of other places I have tried because the waiting room is comfortable & I never feel like I will be mugged coming out of the place. I also really appreciate the friendly staff ( namely nightshift....Rich). He is really what keeps me coming back. Asked me to write a review so here I am. The medicine is also great. Keep it up "the holistic cafe"

Just met the new budtender, Carmen. What a great new addition to their team! She was super sweet and knew her stuff. I use to come in pretty often but haven't come in as much because the service seemed to have dropped. Some of the guys at night seemed like they'd rather be doing something else than help me. Maybe I was coming in at the wrong time. I'll have to come in during the day from now on to see Carmen!
