SDOC is by far the best place I've ever been to. The quality and the variety of the meds is suburb, not to mention the handsome men and beautiful ladies that work there. Was in town and happened to be eating at the Brig next to this place.
WOW i could smell it from the balcony when the wind was blowing right so I had to check it out.
Nice place with a very compassionate vibe. I found that they had a few "souvenirs" I could not live without. I Picked up some Blackberry Kush, Super Jack and some Pink Panther.
The Blackberry has a very "berry" flavor and a nice tingly high. The Jack is a beautiful dense bud that has incredible flavor. I'm not sure how to describe it other than tasty. The Pink Panther has a HUGE head rush that can make your hands numb.

Great surprise on my vacation!! next time I'm down from Riverside I'll stop by again.

San Diego Organic Collective is the most consistent dispensary in San Diego County I've visited. Being a member here since last year and as a member of many collectives/co-ops, I feel SDOC is the very well managed and is the collective I visit 90% of the time I buy medication. They have a wide range of strains at various price ranges typically between $35-60 an 1/8, but you will occasionally find strains priced as low as $25 an 1/8 which includes their Hippy Shake Salad. Their $40 and $45 1/8s are CONSISTENTLY great--I haven’t found an 1/8 anywhere else of that quality at that price.

My typical experience at SDOC begins at the front desk where I am always greeted with a smile. I usually grab a bottle of water and occasionally a piece of candy. Although you might encounter a slight wait during the early evening, more often than not you are allowed to go straight back to the bud room to select your medicine.

Upon entering the bud room, they have all medication organized by price--lower priced strains starting from the left end of the the counter--prices are on the big screen near the register. I love looking at all the strains (they have a LOT of variety here) and chatting with whoever happens to be the BT that day. Everyone here is so nice and they hook up their regulars consistently--I leave here every time feeling they appreciate my business. I really have no reason to go anywhere else unless I'm in a different part of the county and need to get a quick G to hold me over until I can make it back to SDOC.

My favorite all time strain is without a doubt Betsy and this is the only place that sells it. It's this gooey mess loaded with trichomes that smells earthy with a hint of sourness that is a hybrid--most likely indica dominant. I highly recommend you at least try a sample--which you can do on their Sample Sundays! Their other house strain J-One is some of the better tasting medications you will find--if you like fruity strains and typically medicate with sativas, then this is for you. It is very delicious and has a bright frosty green color. Unfortunately, I cannot vouch for their edibles/sodas because I almost always buy flowers only, but they always look great and lately they've been well stocked. Be sure to peek into the display by the cash register--they keep their kief here and sometimes have closeouts.

Be sure to follow them on WeedMaps because they have done a great job lately updating their menus and listing current specials. I believe they have a twitter account @S_D_O_C which also gives you pricing updates, specials and other information throughout the day. Overall, they get an A+ because of three Cs: Consistency, Compassion and Commitment to their members. I trust them and it's why I continue to go back. Thanks SDOC--see you next time.

This is our favorite dispensry!!!! Have tried numerous others, but we always continue to come back to SDOC. Everyone is always super friendly and helpful. Their selection is huge and there's always so much to choose from. The edibles are the best deal around, only $3 and lots of days they have specials for 2 for $5. The store is comfortable and very clean. Definately try SDOC!!!

SDOC is a family owned and operated collective. It has the highest quality products available for the be$t price$. The entire staff is very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. If asked questions - they will answer all or research and get back to you. Educating patients is also a priority at SDOC. Atomsphere/location is great, parking/access to building is execellent. Edibles/drinkables are "fresh" - due to rotation, the collective is very clean, bright and up to date, with information displayed for all patients to read. The one on one care and attention is the best that I've received in a long time. The staff treats all patients as "family and friends." I endorse this facility very highly..//jar//

I have been going to SDOC regularly for about 6 months now and they always have a very good selections of budsw and a great staff to help you out. I'm not really the type to write reviews, so I haven't posted anything until today, but I just came back with a gram of their Raspberry Kush and OH MY GOD! This is some of the best bud I've ever smoked, and that is saying something considering my bachelor party was in Amsterdam. Go get some of this stuff NOW.

On a side note, the J-One is always a really good sativa, Betsy is great for helping me sleep and I really like their keif, which is priced very reasonably. I'm also a big fan of their THC pills as I am cutting down on my smoking and they are priced very well for the potency.

I've heard lots about Obama and from this taste it's all true! Great high, tingly body sensation followed by nice long duration. Herb burns cleanly and there is very little left in the bowl when you are done.
I highly recommend this strain what I got was fantastic.

Also tried the White Diamond. Another fantastic strain, very nice high with good duration and power. Not as good as the Obama but Good nonetheless.

Got a sample of Master Kush and it was also very nice. Good high with a nice finish and flavor.

Nice dispensary clean, offered refreshments upon arrival, quick check in, nice waiting room.
Thought I'd try the Killer Kush and the Silver Pearl. I got there early so I got the Early Bird Special. I didn't know about it but the girl in front of me said it so I asked her and boom I got 4g 1/8ths for being there before 1pm on Sunday.
The Killer Kush was fantastic. Great high, smooth smoke with a very clean finish. Duration could be a bit longer, but can't it always?
The Silver Pearl was also good and it was from a lower shelf. Not as smooth but not harsh by any means either.
Obama I also got a "Sample" of the new batch of Obama. Now I have to say I wish I had picked up more of the Obama as it has a really strong effect that makes my shins numb as well as the rest of me (but always my shins first, very interesting sensation). I looked all their medicine over pretty throughly (I enjoy the shopping experience quite a bit) and found that the Obama just didn't "look" as nice as the Killer Kush, however now I wish I had split the 1/8th between the two. The mix is very nice.
I will be back.

The J-One and the God's Gift here are amazing!!! Mix both and top it off with the J-One Keif with it and it makes one killer bowl. The people here are all really friendly too. Some of the best medicine at this dispensary.

This place is cool but the only meds that i saw i liked was the power plant. If you havent been here than you should give them a try. Thanks Guys

I am staying in the San Diego for a short time and was turned on to SDOC.
I really liked my first time coming here and am looking forward to coming back.
I had a great experience, got my first taste of Skywalker OG.Great Indica with smooth taste and hit, great initial high that tingles to the toes and fingers. Also picked out some J-One to see if it was what everyone had written. I felt it was a very good Sativa. Nice flavr great high and very energetic.

Medicinal marijuana falls under the catagory of vibrational medicine when looking at it from a holistic perspective. Therefore it is equally as important that the vibration that it is grown with, handled and sold is a good one. Otherwise instead of relieving your pain and anxiety it will add to it. Subtle but true.....if your senses are refined....you will know this. SDOC, organic.....is a place that is holistic in nature. THe atmoshphere is friendly, compassionate, patient. I am an elder, and I don't like the dispensaries that have kids that only know about getting "high" trying to educate me on the herb. I'm not interested in feeling like I'm at a party, or about to go to a party when I go to a dispensary. I'm in pain, and I'm going for medicine. I have found that the staff is consistently respectful, knowlegable and willing to meet the demands of its patients. I am always looking for edibles that conform to a vegetarian/vegan diet. They have consistently had something and are moving towards specializing in that. So for those of you who eat healthy naturally and want edibles this is the place to look. Send them an email and let them know that you are in the market for that. Supply meets demand. There prices are always fair and if you have a problem with something or it doesn't work for you, they find a way to compensate. Easy in....easy out. It's far out for me, but worth the drive and I have been a satisied customer for months now....I'm not even looking for any other place.

SDOC really does have something for everyone. From the very low end Sativa's to a few varieties of really good Indicas, Hybrids and everything in between. More importantly, within every price range. Very much like Amsterdam when I could get a gram of White Widow for as little as 6 Euros. So that's way better than having to drop 20 to 60 bucks a pop on those low supply and low legal tender days. Overall SDOC has the right idea and the right attitude. Maybe being so close to the water helps with the good vibes.

After perusing other dispensaries after the first time I stepped into SDOC, I can give a non biased opinion without the Olfactory Bulb manipulating my thoughts: The staff is young but way cool. (Good eye candy of some sorts is always part of a good marketing plan.) As far as the meds go, sometimes the variety can be limited on Sundays after an onslaught of fellow medicators raided the shelves for their weekend quest to change the color of their mood rings. So try to get your meds on Friday if possible. If your on a budget or want some really good blunt filler then I would recommend the Hippie Shake Salad when they have it, last time I checked it was $25 an 1/8th. I recently stopped by for some "top shelf" items and purchased some Perfect Purple and Killer Kush. These variety's looked beautiful but both were less than expected once sampled, at least for their "top shelf", but these guys are great they always make you feel welcome and appreciated and as stated earlier, there is something for everyone.

They stopped giving out free samples with a donation but, when they did, it was usually just a snapper and if it helps their business grow by stopping this practice then I support the cause! These days I usually only go there if I'm in the area but I would recommend the visit. Once you do just drive down the street to Shelter Island after picking up your meds where you can enjoy a rare view of San Diego Bay and wave to all the people who spent way too much money on a boat.
