When I got my license I went to several different dispensaries until I found Discount. The enviroment is welcoming, but professional. All the staff is friendly, but what I really appreciate is how they advise me and work with me on the medication. I feel safe passing through a locked door in and out. So if you are looking for a dispensary I suggest Discount Marijuana.

Bud Quality; The $29 specials are definitely worth the price but as for the top shelf...well for the price you can surely find equal and more superior meds up the street, down the street, and around the corner.

Atmosphere; For such a small space they have made it very cozy and relaxing. I hesitate to give them more than 3 stars because the size of the space limits patient privacy.

Staff; On my 4 visits I have met 3 different bud tenders.
Long Hair Lab Coat Guy; a little snobby about the meds but treats patients well and knows his stuff...should loose the lab coat
Big bald guy; nice and friendly, knowledgaeable enogh to intellignetly discuss the meds and treats patients well
Tall dark hair guy; friendly and knowledgeable, didn't interact with with guy too much....

Convenience; In and out..very convenient...but it is on COLFAX which costs them a star.

Price; B and C grade meds are some of the best deals in town...top shelf meds could definitely be better.


Discount Medical is a nice little walk in shop with knowledgeable staff and very fairly priced B and C grade meds. I dont fault them for trying to bring in customers with slightly misleading advertising because there are still plenty of folks in Denver whom would rather spend their money on mid grade meds...but if youre looking for top shelf meds I'd stay off of Colfax all together!

this place is gr8! they have amazing medicine! got to try the Summit Sweet Skunk and the skunk#1 and the taste was gr8 and the feeling was amazing.

i recommend this spot to everybody check it out at least once! its well worth it

I must say, the lollipops here are the most potent edibles I've ever had I will defiantly be back to buy more. If you're ever in you must try one, you won't be disappointed. The lower price bud is well worth the cash and I have gotten several $29 & $35 1/8ths that I loved however the high end stuff at this place has disappointed me. The $59 1/8th of AK-47 I bought lacked potency and was extremely weird tasting. There also seems to be a difference in pricing at this location when compared to the Lincoln location with some strains being $10 more expensive per 1/8th at this location.
I like that this place gives you your bud in a nice vacuum sealed bag which is alot better then a zip lock some places will give you however it would be nice if they switched to pill bottles.

I would highly recommend stopping by the Lincoln location of Discount Medical Marijuana rather then this place. More discrete, better location, better pricing, and the budtender there is a really nice guy who gave me a free sample of a strain without me even asking.

Me oh my, what to say about Discount Medical Marijuana. To begin with having to stand around on Colfax while you wait and wait to be let in is annoying. The facility is clean and the staff is quite friendly, as they should be. Upon being taken to the back, you see their goods. They don't have a huge selection, but with what they do have, it's rather decent stuff. There's nothing "Discount" about their top shelf Marijuana, but I personally feel that their top shelf, top grade, selection is worth every penny. I enjoy frequenting this establishment since they get you on your way rather quickly and the quality is there. Give them a shot.

I really like coming to this place...There isn't much space to chill or hang out but the atmosphere itself is always relaxed and chill...the people who work there are very nice and I actually sat and talked with one of the owners whose name i cannot remember now but he was very handsome and i'd come by just to see him every once in a while when i pick up my meds...They have never had hash as long as i have been going and their buds can be a bit dry sometimes but overall they still smoke good, taste good and work very well...for the name to be discount marijuana i thought that they would be waaaaaay cheaper though...but it is still all reasonable and worth it....and ladies the younger dark haired owner guy is very good looking so pay them a visit just to let me know what you think lol.....

Discount Medical Marijuana down on the fax, the location isnt bad other then the fact that you enter right on colfax. With a big windowfront and a buzzer to get in the door, the inside is very clean and a pretty nice establishment. All in all it was a pretty nice shop the owner was knowledgeable and knew the genetics to his products. Said he made all of the edibles himself and would vouch for their potency, but I didnt get to pick on up today.

On to the medicine counter which was in the back behind the waiting room with a small glass case with a bunch of mason jars in it. For being called Discount Medical Marijuana it didnt seem to discounted to me, their top shelf medicine was 59$ + tax so it wasnt the cheapest medicine around town. But it was very well manicured and was quite sugary and coated with trichromes. I got some of the Sweet skunk which is delicious and a bit of the Stellar Blue which also looks great but I havent gotten a chance to try it out.

Discount Medical Marijuana was a nice place and had some great medicine I just wish the high quality medicine was discounted as well so I didnt have to sacrifice quality for budget. I am also excited to try the other location on 10th and Lincoln.

This is my 2nd time in. Today i met the baker. He addressed my concerns having never had luck with edibles in the past. He took the time to educate me on them. I had honestly never had edibles before getting my mmj card...so i have never been taught...He was the first to tell me that it wasnt instant...that i needed to wait x amount of time....so i decided to try some of his as he was very confident in his skills and potency of the treats he makes... "and btw...worth the wait"- yummy maple peanut butter cookie....worked in the time frame and manner to what he told me exactly...Cant wait to try the Purple Indica and the Avalon i picked up there as well. This is very quickly growing to be my new favorite dispensary....I will definately be revisiting again soon

This is a nice shop with great prices, maybe the best prices in Denver. The staff is great, really friendly and helpful. One thing I have mixed feelings about is the location. It is right in the heart of Cold Facts Ave. Easy to get to, easy to find, parking is usually not much of a problem...But sometimes, there are hood rats about, and they may try and speak at you if they note you leaving(just shoe them away or ignore them and walk , they won't chase or follow you). I know Discount Medical Marijuana has a second location opening, (10th&Lincoln I think)and this alternate location may afford a bit more discretion.
Overall, I recommend this dispensary.

This is one of my favorite MMD's to stop in and pick up meds. The staff there cares and tends to your personal needs. One thing Ive learned through countless trips to other MMD's is that just cause its on the menu dont mean its good. However the staff was very helpfull in my choices of selection, and made sure i walked out with a quality product. If you like good choices of selections and reliability, than you should set a course for discount medical because it might be right up your ally.

I decided to do a little "Bud hopping" on my day off and went to check-out a few dispenceries. I was across the street when i noticed the DMM sign. I don't live in Capital Hill but i frequent the general area on occasion. I came to an electronically locked door with a bell to ring for entry. The door was unlocked and I was greeted by a friendly and enthousiastic gentleman working at the front desk. As mentioned by another review not a bunch of paperwork to fill out, the gentleman just made a copy of my identification and I was taken back to the bud counter. I met a couple of the main guys Matt, Mark and the Professional baker can't remeber his name, I apologize Baker Man and for any other names I may have forgotten. They were ALL-VERY personable, knowledgable, professional, compassionate, and diverse. I was very impressed by the information they voluntarily offered about the strains, bud quality, growing type, edibles offered and how they are made. These guys displayed genuine passion about what they do and why they do it. The baked goods DMM offered looked amazing! Brownies, cookies & candies. I had to get a couple to try out but wanted to get more. I purchased a Lemon Poppie Seed Kookie and an Almond Rock-Ya. I highly recommend BOTH! Talk about tastey AND effective! I ate 1/2 the kookie and felt a very uplifting body high, and it had a very flavourful taste of a gourmet type baked good. Finished the other 1/2 an hr later was good for another couple hrs. I have chronic back pain and edibles is a way to get thru everyday life sometimes when other means arent available. These guys know whats in it and how much, they should after all, they make it! Very good quality for a more affordable price. In todays economy thats important for most of us. When they have that going for them plus the personable staff and overall quality of their products, why not stop on by when u have the time? I recommend the Summint Sweet Skunk, it is the top strain they have right now, very good for pain, also Grape Ape was impressive, very flavourful and pretty to just look at. I went back just yesterday for more but they already had a new kind of grape, GrapeWreck. They even put it under a microscope for me to see the high quality of their buds. I have noticed the burn quality is even better than some other medical i've had. The ash is cleaner and it smokes smoother. Remember, quantity doesn't necessarily mean QUALITY. I've been to more than a few dispenceries that advertise their '50' strains and i've paid a lot more for some crap weed that they praised abt but they had no info on how it was grown. I'd rather have a nice selection of some quality buds from someone that actually has taken the time to care and learn about what can make the best quality medicine for our medicinal needs. I know that i will get a good balance of quality vs quantity when i go to DMM. Even if ur new to Medical Marijuana or have been a lifetime connoisseur, I remain confident you will have a more than pleasant experience at Discount Medical Marijuana

I'm a new user to medical marijuana so I needed a place that could give me real and honest assistance. When I went into the facilities I was pleasantly greeted by a very nice receptionist and was not bombarded by a bunch of paperwork like other dispensaries. I was then handed off to a very nice guy who took the time to educate me on the different strains. Even though they were busy, they made me feel just as important as the rest of their regulars. I highly suggest the Summit County Sweet Skunk. The edibles are to die for since the guy who makes all of it is a professional chef. My favorite, Lemon cookies.

I recently visited per finding them on this site. They are convenient to a major bus route which is a major plus for me not having a vehicle. Atmosphere was wonderfull and staff very friendly and knowledgable. Prices were definately very reasonable. I picked up summit sweet skunk and afgooy. both those make you feel in medical terms retarded...so i say they do definately have great quality as well. I will definately revist due to all these things.

I live close by, and thought I'd stop in, The first thing i noticed as I walked in off of Colfax, and into the store was that they had no kind of window coverings, blinds or tints. I think this is absolutely absurd considering the amount of foot traffic ie. bums hanging around out front. I felt very uncomfortable in their waiting room. I realize they are new, and hopefully will address this issue. The budtender took us back and was very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about his buds. The buds looked and smelled good. I got their top shelf and went for the Summit County Sweet Skunk, and it is quite tasty. Prices ranged from $59 top shelf incl. tax, and went down from there. I think they only had two or three top shelfs however their mid $49 strains looked good. As I left someone asked me to sell them some "weed" as he put it, right outside of their establishment. Needless to say I kept on walking. Although the quality of the buds were good, and the staff was very friendly I probably would drive out of my way, to go to a dispensary Not on Colfax.

Finally a new club for the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The quality of the meds here were top notch and the prices were equally unbelievable. The store was clean and the staff was courteous and professional, not at all shady like some of the other stores I have visited. The heirloom Ak47 and the Island Sweet Skunk were especially tasty.I will be a regular customer of this establishment. It is nice to have a professional in our neighborhood.
