A decent local with a nice atmosphere inside. It maybe small but it works well and has enough entertainment if you have to wait ten minutes which I've done at places much larger than this. A knowledgable and friendly staff with good prices and a variety of bud & prices to choose from. One of the few that I've seen carry Colas of their strains for sale...Their Strawberry Cough is still one of my fav's.

Checked it out not impressed, Plus they still give you your medicine in a plastic bag, so half your trichromes end up stuck on the plastic. Most of the buds were larfy and smelled a little like hay.

Nothing special about this place, thought i would write a review to save you all the trouble. If you happen to be in the neighborhood and desperatly need meds, then sure, stop in for a gram of average herbals. I sampled what appeared to be the best strain: it was aromatic and crystallized, called sno cap, which ultimately dissapointed in both flavor and effect. The office is small and understaffed, don't be surprised if you have to wait in the hallway for an extended period before being helped. They were friendly, but appeared to have little knowlege of cultivation, relying heavily on local growers for genetics and product information. The waiting room can comfortably fit three adults and a freshwater fish tank stolen from some little kid's room.

I had a really great experience here. Very nice and helpful staff, a great selection of medicine and medibles, and the prices were a bit less than the other places I've been. They made me feel very comfortable, welcomed and even said thanks! Great location right down the street from Moe's Bagels, my fav!

My second time to the bud and I really like it. It helps that it's close to my house, but they have a very friendly, inviting place. Meds are good to great, prices are really fair, yummy munchies too. Loved to cool hash coils.

Super nice guy, eager to please/help. Did feel like a dr. office. Some strains mismarked, nice variety but overall just average.

Did a quick boulder dispensary tour the other day, stopped in to check out The Bud. Nice place, good guys, it was quick and easy. They had a pretty good selection of strains, I liked the "top cola" idea where you can get the best buds. Prices are a bit high but good medicine.

Stopped in and had a great experience. Nice atmosphere, nice conversation and great meds! Price is in line-tax is added. Was nice to break 3.5g into 2 strains; makes it easier to find what works!

Average. Clean but nothing special, reminded me of an open chiropractor office. Nice guy tending, seemed a bit over-the-top confident about the bud which was same-same as the rest. Prices were high for what you get overall. Convenience/access was fine for patients unable to climb stairs, which should be the norm. Kind of boring overall.

Not sure what all the other reviewers are raving about, unless 'The-Bud' has changed since I went in. They only had 5 strains. High-priced.......Also, they were selling a Grapefruit Haze as an Indica....anyone out there know of a Haze that's an Indica...getting sick of places selling strains with not knowing what they are selling. If it's medical grade, know the strain and phenotype, please, especially if you expect me to pay $18/gram.

My boyfriend and I went to check out The Bud and we were both satisfied with the experience. The guy working was extremely friendly and made us feel more than welcome. The atmosphere is really nice, you have a sitting area slightly separated from the area where all the herb is. When you go to check out their selection they have bar stools for you to sit on while you make your decision, it was nice not feeling rushed. Their prices were nice - same price for all herb. $16 gram, $50 eighth, ect. Overall our experience was very nice but the bud quality just wasn't really there.

This place is real legit...located conveniently in North Boulder right off Broadway parking is easy, and with no massive sign displaying the dispensary privacy is very well taken care of...The medicine is very high quality, with a lack of patients being the only thing holding this club back from expanding their selections. Fortunately, I have been able to try each and every strain they carry, and so far the Grapefruit Haze, Sour D, and Blueberry are all very potent and quite delicious...their edibles are new and always changing so the menu is not stable...The Chocolate Pumpkin bread was out of this world!!!! Fred and Jeff, the owner + manager, are two of the most legit and compassionate dispensary owners I have come across..their understanding of the medical marijuana process and their want to provide quality care for numerous patients in North Boulder is unmatched so far...all they need is more patients to give them a chance!....i promise you wont be disappointed...
