I totally agree with the guy below , The receptionist there think they are on the Showtime series of weeds. I really got this clickish vibe going on. If only they stocked the green krosss like they do kush lounge. People at green kross make you feel more at home, and the receptionist at the kross are really cool.

so i usually always go here just because it is the most convenient. bud is always top of the line but some of the new staff isnt too knowledgable on the effects of some of their medicine. other than that this place is the spot to go becaus ethey always have what you need!

first time visit to kush..gave convenience 5 star simply b/c i live downtown-(kush is within walking distance)..they had some really nice top-quality flowers that were a little bit more $ than i was willing to spend..the lower quality flowers were ok... not that impressed..

I actually had it predetermined that this place was going to be it. that the downtown kush lounge was going to be the best dispensary in all of SD. so i payed my $5 for parking, because it definitely seemed worth it at the time.

bud quality was a 4. i got the O'Geez. it smelt very cheesy, but wasnt potent enough for me.

The atmosphere was cool. i mean come on, they got a 2 level loft in Downtown Sd, that's pretty cool.

the staff was what turned me off. Mike your cool! (budtender) but O'Geez that receptionist is something else isnt she? thinking that she can have some attitude, prejudgeing patients? acting like a bouncer at a nightclub, this is something we can all do without, especially when dealing with our pharmacies, I mean come on! This is where we get our medicine. Now, you might think its a "cool job" or whatever, but you cant be so hostile to someone you have prejudged, this just isn't right.

the convenience is low, yeah its a cool set up in the gaslamp, but where do i park? i payed $5 at a relatively nearby lot, during the day. expect to pay twice that after hours.

the prices weren't so great either unfortunately. they did have like 30 strains when i went, 25 of them i would never buy. of the 30, maybe 5 were fire. but there were also the ones that your going to be paying for! you know what i mean.

overall, i do not recommend this place.
there is so much advertising, and hype built up in this place, but its all a cover.

I really do like this dispensary, but there are a few thing i wish they would change. I was overall very impressed but the quality that work with, its nice to find a club that takes weed seriously and doesn't try rip people off with a bunch of high end greenhouse. I loved all of their high end trains like the starlight og and and the strawberry og kush, but the kotton kandy master kush had a few seeds in it. i felt personally that the stativa side needed some work as well. I bought some hash oil that was really great, but the container it was in was of terrible design. i wish you guys could put it in a container more accessible. all of the hash oil is stuck around the side and it is kinda annoying. i found a way to roll little nugs and move them around to scrap the bottle, but i shouldn't have to do this. I'm not tryin to hate just wanna see some changes. 420 an oz should never be. we all know this. I want you guys to be number one.

I can't get enough of this place. They have a huuuge selection of strains along with some unique ones that are hard to find elsewhere. They carry that FIRE for sure. The atmosphere is super chill - unlike any dispensary ive been to so far. Great staff is always welcoming and not stand off-ish like some dispensaries ive been to. Seriously the best Dispensary in San Diego

stopped by for the first time and was impressed with the waiting area. It took a little while to till i was able to go upstairs and see the Buds. I was very impressed by the wide variety and organization of their buds, and they also had a good selection of hash and keif. Would def recommend to anyone in gaslamp area.

Stopped by a couple times now and have been pretty happy with everything, great quality, probably one of the larger selections ive seen as far as indicas, sativas, hybrids, many strains of each kind, hell i even saw that you could choose wheter you wanted hydro or organic master kush... its nice to be able to choose from so much, and they keep it seperated so the budtender isnt trying to figure out which ones are which, they have a ton of extracts, edibles, etc.... the staff is pretty chill..... if youre downtown theres nowhere better to stop that i have seen.....

I was chillin in downtown so I needed a edible & a G. I picked up a RICE KRISPIE & a gram of sum FIRE OG KUSH. The krispy tasted great(like fruity pebbles lol)but no buzz what so ever at $10 a donation. The OG on the other hand was def up to par. Tasted great, smelt good, nice kick. Has the great earthy OG high. Great for a good night sleep. Great for a $20 donation. The transaction was a lil sloppy & that certain level of professionalism is just not there. $25 G's donation is just not COMPASSIONATE either if you ask me! Do the math at $25. That's why I don't pick up my weekly 1/2's or OZ's from collective like this. They do a great job of keeping QUALITY & QUANTITY. 1Luv LOS

Great selection of flowers, edibles, and concentrates. Spacious waiting room with fairly quick service. Prices are steep for grams alone however they do cap at 60 which is fair for the quality they offer. Whether you smoke sativas or indicas, this spot has got a huge selection for both. Thanks guys and keep up the good work!

First time I went to Downtown Kush pre-moratorium I went once and it was tits. I even smoked a nice bong right there before I left the place and they were playing pineapple express on the big screen. I saw it was a more chill environment. Then I went there sometime around September and the doors where all boarded up, I guess a lot of collectives closed down. A bit later I went back and it was totally changed. The girl at the front desk was super rude because I only had my passport and she was saying my ID was not valid. I had her call her boss and he looked at the passport and he told her it is a valid California ID and she felt stupid. Whatever, I could care less how she felt. I went up the stairs after for some herbs right... I looked to the spot where the bong would be to take a rip and nothing was there, so I curiously asked the budtender Mike(only cool cat there) what happend... he said things changed a bit. The meds where ok, the prices not so much... however they did have two grams for $30 but was not worth all the hassle to find parking out there, plus the staff there is uptight now. Won't go there too much anymore. I rather go to other places for topshelf!

the buds alright, the people are hit and miss sometimes. the prices suck, i require a large amount of meds and cant afford to be paying the full 8th price everytime i buy a half 0 or full 0. its a long drive for me so my round trip is looking at 250-350 if im trying to get a half or full.
price breaks would change my opinion but until that happens i wont be returning.

I've been a patient at the KUSH LOUNGE for the past year and have recently stopped going here. This must be the ONLY place in SD that will not give you a break when you buy a 1/4 or more! What the heck is up with that??? There is NO flowers here that are worth $120 a 1/4! You can get the same flowers at many other dispensaries in the local area at or near the same quality for about 10 to 15 dollars CHEAPER per 1/4! So I highly recomend you look around before you buy! Also I see another patient complained about no first time gift and the owner replied, they are trying to rebuild their stock due to the recent raids. Well a friend and I were there long before these raids and we didn't recieve any free gift either. As much as they charge for their meds there should NEVER be a reason why we all don't get a free gift. When you carry over 40 strains you can't possibly say you are trying to rebuild your stock thats just plan bullcrap! I use to make this 70 mile round trip once a week EVERY week, however untill the KUSH LOUNGE can be a lot more reasonable with their prices I must say they lost a solid patient. Plz for everyone's sake.....give price breaks on EVERYTHING thats 1/4 and above just like EVERYONE else is doing. And for crying out loud give the first timers a gift! Ya know, a reason to actually want to drive to downtown and see ya'll! Good luck KUSH LOUNGE!

AS A RETURNING PATIENT I DONATED FOR SOME MR NICE WHICH IS A REALLY GOOD BATCH, AND ALSO GRABBED SOME PRIVATE RESERVE WHICH HAS GOOD POTENCY AND AN EXCELLENT TASTE. STOP BY AND CHECK OUT THE FULL SUN KUSH' ALSO...YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED. DOWN TOWN KUSH LOUNGE GETS ALL 5 STARS IN MY OPINION. YOU CANT BEAT OVER 40+ STRAINS AND THE QUALITY OF EACH STRAIN HAS TO BE THE BEST IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY. ALWAYS COMPASSIONATE, SO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS.

Originally referred over from the Kross for my preference of tasty kush varieties, I have been coming to the Lounge for quite some time now. Stopped in yesterday to take advantage of their customer appreciation day hoping to find some lowered prices on the fire strains I have come to love such as Starlight Kush, Kotton Kandy Kush, MK-Ultra (G-13 crossed with OG Kush- unbelievable) and La Conf. Was disappointed to find the appreciation was only a free "hash brownie", which included no information about the strength and did nothing for me even though I hadn't eaten yet that day (I have an extremely high tolerance when it comes to edibles, an entire soda barely allows me to medicate), and is something that many other coops do as part of a daily special. In addition, new patients who were trying to take advantage of the freebie caused quite a bit of a wait, which was not really appreciated when I am driving from PB and parking is already not the most convenient (but not always as bad as everyone makes it seem). All in all this place still carries straight fire. Yes there are meds for every budget, and their selection of sativas is always bomb too (J-1 and a wide variety of Diesels are ridiculous) but their top shelf kush specialties are what keeps this patient coming back. Was just hoping to see a break in price along the high cap for once. Guess that would be too good to be true with this kind of quality. Keep supplying the HEAT.

P.S. That Hash Oil with the Fire OG is where its at when your workin with deep pockets...

Thanks for taking the time to read and respond to your patients' thoughts/suggestions on this page as we do appreciate it, and are all in this together striving for ways to better enrich both patients and collective's way of life. You cannot, however, honestly expect us to believe that is IMPOSSIBLE to carry top shelf strains for less than $60 donations. As several other reviews have stated, the same quality and sometimes better quality meds can be found for less as many coops now have happy hour specials, reader coupons, or just $50 house caps. Patients might agree that some meds may well be worth $60 an 8th, but we don't agree we should pay that price if it is more than the cost previously incurred to produce the meds. There is no way any medication costs almost $2000 a quarter pound or over $7500 a lb.to cultivate, which is what $60 8ths equates too. I still got love for you guys, and it was good to see some of you at the concert on Sun, but seriously, even people who have never grown quality meds have to realize that the cultivation of these plants costs a fraction of what they sell for. I can't lie though, that K Lounge Presents: True OG may well be worth 2 a QP, hah. Kudos on that batch though- the epitome of kush.
