California's Finest is a cool place. They have deals daily and their medicine is top-notch. They have a wide variety of strains as well as accessories if you will. But perhaps the best reason to come to (or come back to) California's Finest is the staff. My dude hooks it up and is real chill. Overall I give it a 9.5 out of 10

The only place I will go in downtown when I am either going or coming from work.... Great selection at good prices... Edibles, joints, swishers, glass you name it I can get it from here.... The review is long overdue and I owe you guys a ton for how much you have helped me out over the last few months... Keep on doin what your doin and keep getting the good stuff... Will be back soon and cant wait for the 20'th.....

I was a first time visitor and the staff was friendly and the paperwork was very quick. I got the Silver Haze which looked excellent with a lot of trichomes and smelled great.

My friends, this is the premium dispensary. With its downtown location right by the trolley station and high quality bud, you cant go wrong here. The place is also clean, organized and the check in is very quick. If youre looking for the stickiest of the ickiest and a chill experiance then this is place.

I just got my Medical Card this Sunday, and decided to hit up CFC(having the most reviews in SD). Its a trip having heard about it so long, and yet i finally get to walk into a place and get to pick my meds. Staff was friendly, location was prime, and atmosphere was chill. Menu was on a large 40in LCD. Being a new member, i recieved a Free CFC Medical T-shirt( Mos Def dope!) & a joint. I ended up mix and matching with the HUBBA BUBBA KUSH and MASTER KUSH.


Props for the BOMBAY, and the first time experience in a dispensary.

I was greeted right away,
Paperwork was quick and easy,
I felt very safe having to enter through two locked security doors,
Then once in the back I felt welcome, the environment was very chill,
The large flat screen TV menu was great, not like some places i've been where some stoner obviously scribbled down the goods and pricess on a dry erase board that can be read.
I went with a hybrid "lambsbread' it was a 6 outta 5,
Staff was great the bud tender Brandon? or Brendon? gave me the best nug in the jar, then he gave me a t-shirt and free firt time patients gift.

I had some Pot-O-Gold and Herojuana. The pot o gold had a sweet taste with a hint of some purple. Great sativa strain. The Herojuana was just fire, bomb indica, huge dense nugs. I gotta cruz by again. The staff was very chill and informative.

I live around the corner so this is the closest to my house. Theres a lot of buds to choose from , they made it easy and fast to pick the best one for me. Just got home and took some rips...very nice I recommend the skunk #1. The prices are good and theres incentives if your a new customer...plus you get a free t-shirt :) Overall this place is legit.

Me and my girlfriends came down to Cali's Finest while we were visiting some friends in SD and Im very glad we did... We were greeted in the front and quickly brought back into the med room after filling out their membership agreement.. We were met by 3 guys who were all super friendly and nice, and yes ladies, they were handsome... Good music playing and a real cool vibe with bob marley pictures hanging up and shark week playing on one of their flatscreen t.v.'s.... They also have their menu digitized on a flat screen which makes it look much nicer and easier to read... Their selection was really large with amazing quality and one of my friends said out loud that this spot reminded her of LA, one of the budtenders replied, its probably because we are all from LA and so are the meds... This place def had the feel of a good shop in LA, I have been to other dispensaries in other cities and they all sorta have a weird vibe like they don't know whats going on or something, not this place, super good vibe with everything you could possibly want for very cheap prices... We came in on sunday so it was their $5 off 1/8th day and we were all excited, we also got to pick between a free joint, an edible, more of a discout or more medication because it was our first time.. I opted for the joint and it was really fat and good, my friend got the edible which we shared and it was very tasty and potent... The shirts were really cute and they had them in girls sizes which is rare, free shirts are mostly one or 2 sizes and not aimed at girls around 100lbs like us... We ended up getting a few different 1/8ths, Diablo OG, Herojuana and green crack, all of which were suppppppper dank and crystally... They had all sorts of cool stuff there also, gasmasks, cool pipes, bongs, grinders etc.... Its def the one stop shop when Im in SD... All and all great experience, I will be back and I will refer any of my friends who live down in the 619... I would personally like to thank Tyler also, we came in with one friend who can never decide on something and is often upset after she decides, tyler took his time with her and found her something that she was truly happy with, he had a lot of patience and kept a huge smile on his face... The location was very easy to find and it is literally 2 minutes from the gaslamp where all the bars and food places are... Cant wait to come back and see my boys at CFC, especialy now for the daily specials and the new shirt on the 20th...

One of the fastest regestry processes that i have encountered thus far. Extreamly friendly and knowlagabul staff. Great selection and convinetly located. A must experiance for first timers as well as long time customers.

WOW!!! I really need to question the motives of the reviewer below me.. I too was a first time patient on one of their 20th of the month specials and I haven't missed a 20th since I became a member of the cooperative.. Let me start off by saying B and all of the budtenders that volunteer at CFC are some of the most compassionate and introspective people I have met in the business.. Never have I witnessed any sort of negative attitude and they have always been outright and honest with me when I go in there... When I came in for my first time, I attempted to get my first time special along with the 20th special and I was nicely told that I could have the first time special, but it would void the 20th special, so I opted for the free gram and edible and t-shirt and raffle ticket instead, I think I made the right choice.. I too was present for the previous 20th and I can say it was a madhouse with a lot of people waiting in line, some of them not so patiently or nicely.. SO I continued to wait for a little bit as I watched B, handle the crowd, while confirming new patients and making new files all while still helping patients and handing out new shirts and free grams with a huge smile on his face... All I can say is I saw a few of the people waiting acting rude and already talking negativly and I didnt understand it... It seems there is a wave of people who feel entitled to things in the medical marijuana community.. If I was to go to Ralphs with a coupon that voided another deal, I wouldn't stand there and argue at the checkout counter, I would understand it is either one special or another, I have to choose, I am not entitled to both.. SO let me thank you CFC for not granting this patient every little free thing he asks for because it would be unfair if you did it for one person and not for everyone else... It is very simple to understand and anyone complaining over things they think they deserve is just hurting the movement for the rest of us.. As far as the medication being bad, I think this person is living in a different reality.. EVERYTHING THEY HAVE IS FIRRREEEE compared to the other spots in SD that try to pass off low-grade as kush and charge high prices for it... Every OG strain they have is just like the stuff I used to get up in LA when I lived there, which is to say it is second to none.. I personally understand that High grade indica costs more time and money to produce, and, often times only produces a quarter of the medication that other strains will... The platinum and the Diablo OG are by FAR the best og's I have seen in SD, and anything comparable is 25 a gram also at other spots... Downtowns parking is a mess to begin with, whether your going to a padre game, a dinner place or the shop, its gonna be a little mission, but well worth it, and I dont think it is CFC'S fault there is a parking and traffic problem in downtown... I am glad I waited until today to write my review, so I could loyally defend my favorite medicine outlet from entitled people who go place to place with their hand out expecting something for free... I will continue to come in daily and I will continue to tell everyone I know in the community that this is the place to come.. I hope the reviewer below me gives the place another shot, because not only is everyone very kind to me when I come in, they are brutally honest and always point me in the right direction with my meds, which is the whole point of the thing... I am not pointing any fingers, but when you wait in a line with fellow patients for 5 minutes, you can tell the people who truly care, and then the people who just want to come in a get something for free than complain.. I am going to make a point of it to have all of my friends who medicate write a review on their experience at CFC, so people are not persuaded by a bitter reveiwer who thought they deserved more than everyone else... If we are to make positive changes in this movement that allows a terminally ill person like myself to medicate, we are gonna need to get rid of the people who find DR's to write 3 month rec's just so they can go place to place and complain about free things... I was truly upset when I read this slander about my BT's at CFC, and once again let me say, THEY ARE COMPASSIONATE, NICE, AND VERY SMART!!! DONT BE PERSUADED BY CHILDREN GIVING THE MOVEMENT A BAD NAME!!! As a matter of fact, IM gonna head down there right now.... I came as a new patient on 7/20 for the patient appreciation day. Parking was shitty because its downtown but that was expected. Check in was fast and there was a line of about 15 people. A lot of people walked out of the budroom with nothing shaking their heads. The BTs were not nice. He was letting people in the budroom by saying "Next 4 lets go!" It seemed like he was pissed that I was there. The selection was pretty shitty. I got a gram of Platinum OG Kush. It is listed for 20 but I got charged 25. I figured what the hell, it will be worth it with the free g of OG x Bubba Kush. They advertised the free g as "top notch meds." I'm sorry but it was shitty. No trichs, no smell and not a great high. It was a let down. You guys need to step your game up. That was bottom shelf meds at other shops. On top of that I didnt get a free edible as a first time patient. The BT said since I got the free gram thats my first time gift. So basically I'm a first time patient and get the same as everyone else who walks in the door that day. Thats shitty. The Platinum OG was good but not worth 25 a g. Overall it was a shitty experience and I wont be back. Its sad that the best thing I got out of there was a t shirt. Seriously, I dont know if the Bt was having a bad day because it was busy but he was not nice. No eye contact...nothing. Thats OK. There's more weed shops than Starbucks in SD so I'll go where I get treated right.

I did not go just for the handout. I went with the intention of buying an 8th if I liked anything. The free g was part of the reason I went. They advertised it in caps on WM! I wasn't disrespectful when I asked about the free edible. When the BT rang me up I said, "Its my first time here." He quickly said, "Well since you got the free gram thats your gift." I paid and left. I'm not a child just out for freebies. I spend a decent amount of hard earned money on my meds. I'm a 20 year smoker with a valid medical reason for my rec. I know what good bud is, and I'm sure alot of people who were there that day will agree with me, they did not have a good selection of top notch meds that day. Alot of it looked old. The Platinum OG was good, but not 25 a g good. It should have been no more than 20 a g. I do understand about the cost of high quality medication but even if they sold it off in 1/2 oz's they would make over $7000 per pound...over $8000 if they sold it at their 65 an 8th price! It was good, but damn sure not that good. The free g, which they advertised as "top notch meds" seriously wasn't. I understand it was free. Usually the free g or preroll you get isn't the greatest and I have no issue with that. The problem is, it was advertised as way better than it was so I was disappointed. It reminded me of some 40 an 8th stuff at other spots...no OG smell, or any kind of smell whatsoever. I'm only calling it like I see it. Maybe I was there on a bad day because it was busy, but you'd think on patient appreciation day they would bring their A-game as far as product and customer service is concerned. The guy bringing people back to the BR was pretty much barking orders out to patients. He brought us in 4 at a time, didn't introduce us to the BT's. He just went behind the counter to double as a BT. No one really said much to me so i went up and started looking at flowers and I was not too impressed. Don't get me wrong, they had a few nice looking strains there but they were 60-65 an 8th. Most of the other flowers they had in there did not look good. 65 an 8th is just too much to pay, especially when I can get weed just as good or better for 50 an 8th at a few other spots. On top of high prices and an OK overall selection of meds, these guys were rude. I could understand that if I was rude or disrespectful, but I wasn't. I was kinda quiet that morning. There are no motives behind my review. I'm just honestly reporting the experience I had there.

Man these buds are good, from the sativas that Prefer to the wicked indicas, better beware of the Herojuana. Good atmophere and some nice gifts including the badass shirts they make CFC.
