The lady in the front was very friendly and nice... but when I went to the back the guy behind the counter didn't say a word when I came in.... not even a hi....

The place is decorated well really nice atmosphere....easy to find well lit building...

I gave the price 4 because I don't really think anything should be priced over $60 and the things at $60 should be top top top.....

Ive been to this place a few times and Im never ever disappointed. I picked up some Diablo OG and it was so sticky it stuck to the bottom of the jar. It was super stinky and i got about 8 blunts out of the Eighth. The sacks were pre-weighed but it was still Fatty. The BT Kinda looks like Jimmy from the show Yes Dear. Top notch quality I highly recommend

There are many things you need to look at when you go into a clinic and decide if its got its game up to par or not. For me these things are, bud quality, price, edible quality, cleanliness, and customer service. I give South Coast 5 stars in every catagory.

Their bud quality is top notch and they always have a very nice selection of top quality strains. You might be surprised when you see that their cap is $65 but believe me this is not for no reason. Let's take a specific strain such as they're skywalker OG for example. This is one of their $65 an 8th strains. When you open the jar the bouqet is invigorating. It's cured perfectly giving it the classic strong OG smell that you would expect from a connoisseur quality og. You can tell it has been grown to perfection harvested just at the right time to create that nice body high that we have all come to expect from a true OG. The trichomes are abundant and very visible without any magnification. Every hit of this og is superb right down to the ash; which is another sign of how professional the grower is. Sometimes when a plant is grown with nutrients the grower doesn't flush the plant properly (this is done by giving the plant nothing but water for the last two weeks of the flowering process) and it is left with a harshness sometimes crackling and sizzling when you light it. The strains South Coast carries, this og included, are always flushed of any growing nutrients used in the growing process. They are left with nothing but a smooth and tasty hit that any connoisseur would enjoy.

If $65 an 8th is too pricey for you then they also carry many less expensive strains ranging from $40-$60 an 8th. Everything that they carry is worth its price and all prices include CA sales tax.

Their edibles are deffinitly up to par. They taste great and some of them even come with a money back guaruntee. I tend to have a very high tolerance to edibles and thought I would want to ask to get my money back. This however was not the case. After I ate it I felt great even without smoking along with it. The prices are pretty nice compared to most clinics for their edibles ranging from $5-$15 per edible, they even have Jam for $30 a jar.

When you walk into South Coast you see a fish tank to your right and four chairs. Everything is extremely clean including the fish tank. They have all your meds pre weighed so that nobody has to be touching your medicine, very sanitary. Of course if you want to see how much your meds weigh you can ask them to weigh it out in front of you before you donate. There isn't any dust anywhere and the cases are always nice and clean, no nasty fingerprints to block your view.

If all this wasn't enough their customer service is some of the best I've experienced. They seem to care about you right from the moment you walk in the door. The girl's that they hire as the receptionists greet you right away and always say goodbye when you leave. Compassion is their middle name at South Coast always helping those with less funds out. The owners are extremely friendly, as well as everyone else who works there.

Overall this clinic is my number one pick in OC. I give it a 5 star rating in every catagory which I do not give out easily. Give South Coast a try you won't regret it.

Its a must have i just got some and dang im LOVING it if not then I suggest you try thier SD BULLRIDER or Liquid Grape its a super heavy one and very tasty too this place never fails has the best and always seems to delight me with there GOODIES

My first visit was pleasant. The verification process was speedy and the staff was very nice. They had a big clone nursery which had a big window. I was very impressed as this was my very first clinic. There were two very friendly, professional and knowledgeable budtenders who answered all my first-timer questions. I got a free edible so I got a brownie, and I also purchased a rice krispy treat and a Lion Fuel soda. The soda was very tasty-just like a squirt. It came on slow but was powerful. I got a gram of platinum og which was moist and smelled great. Overall it was a great place, just a little further than I would usually like to drive.

I liked the layout of the place, and I do say its cool they have a whole room set up as there clone nursery(although i didnt go in there). They had a pretty decent selection of buds. I ended up getting an 1/8 of their Platinum Og Kush, a gram of their Purple Kush, a gram of their Diablo 2(suggested by budtender), and then just a pre roll of some Jack Herer.

The Platinum was very good. I have had this strain before, and when it is done right, you can never go wrong, and this one was pretty good. The Purple wasnt necessarily purple in color(knowledgeable people know it doesnt always look purple), but it WAS purple kush the strain, and not bad at that. The Diablo 2 turned out to be pretty good as well. It had a great smell. The Jack Herer pre roll was ok, but I dont think it was true Jack Herer, but it is also hard to tell when you are smoking shake in a joint.

The one thing I didnt like was when I ultimately made my decision on everything, the bud tender just pulled out some pre-weighed containers, and when I asked to see them weighed out, he looked at me as though I was crazy and said he had a bunch of people waiting. I am the person who likes to see what I am paying for, before I pay for it. So I made him pull out his scale, and start to weigh them in front of me, and when he opened up the first container, it was all itty bitty pellets of bud. So I then asked him to find me good nugs for each strain, as well as weigh it out in front of me. I dont think he liked that, but I am not going to donate a good amount of money, for mediocre product. They should totally eliminate their whole pre-weighing system. I know its supposed to expedite things, but people like to see exactly what they are going to pay for, BEFORE they pay for it.

I really dont know if I will come back here, maybe if they cap all their buds at 50, and stop pre-weighing.

Picked up some Platinum OG and Hogsbreath. Bomb. The negative reviews must be from competitors.

The bud was mediocre, at best. There wasn't not one single thing they had that stood out or looked like it WASN'T outdoor junk. The lady at the front was cute, however, props...only props actually. The guy behind the counter was new, which is cool, new people come and go quite often at places, but this guy was an f'n tard. He had no clue about anything. He just kept stating it was his first day, his first day, his first day, he didn't know anything cuz it was his first day. Not that difficult to know anything about anything in this industry dude.

Went there for clones to start with....checked em out and noticed spider mites on their stock on one of the shelves, behind quite a few clones, on plants that, according to the new guy, had been there awhile...but "they didn't have a bug problem" until I pointed it out to him. And I don't mean just pointed at a plant they had and said "oh hey you have a bug problem"....I was looking at 2 different plants and actually showed the guy live and crawling adult/mature 2 spot spider mites. Anyway, that's cool and all...bugs happen, we all take pre-cautions, or at least should, but what really annoyed me about this place was they told me in person they were closing their clone room right then and there. They NEVER mentioned on any place they are listed about their mites to patients, never actually closed down their room (yeah me and a couple of my friends called later that day and 1-2 days after as well)....oh no their clones were totally ready to go right then, literally no more than an hour after I was there and pointed out the mites.

Hey you know, again, bugs happen. Anyone can get them just by walking down the sidewalk. I don't blame them for that....but not posting about it and selling clones right away when they knew the problem was there?!!?!??! That's just shady.


I will NEVER go here again...not because they had bugs, they happen. More because they lied to my face and then didn't put any sort of notification on their listings about bugs....they obviously don't care if I come back, or others for that matter, if they won't even acknowledge that.

Now this place right here is that i love to see and smell and even taste i LOVE their SD BULLRIDER has a very good taste to it i also have tried to liquid butter which is BOMBS and thier edibles are some of the best i get from all over SO-CAL the staff are really friendly and the location is great the price is up there but mostly because you get what you pay for and that is some DANKY MEDS

The GOOD: Nice selection of clones. They had both soil and soil-less, and they looked very healthy. They were some of the tallest clones that I've seen. Also, they have some items that I haven't seen elsewhere (Bullrider and the THC strips), so that part was nice. Also, the verification was quicker than anywhere else that I've been to, but maybe that was because I was the one of only 2 patients in there at the time.

The BAD: Have the rest of you had enough of bullshit specials and fake advertisements that aren't what they say they are? I've had enough of that kind of BS. This place clearly states "NEW PATIENTS Free Gram of Choice with purchase or 15% off" on their flier. As a new patient, I was offered a free gram (of any kind priced at $20 or less) with a MINIMUM donation of an 1/8ths (all of their 1/8ths seemed to be $50 and up--I didn't see the $40 1/8ths but maybe I missed them or something).

My Summary: End the bullshit scam deals and just have fair and consistent pricing. I won't be back there except to get my free 1/8 for referring a new patient. Even at that, I won't make a special trip out there--it will be a day when I'm going to Disneyland or something. It's just not worth a special trip there for a simple gram. I may go back for a clone if I ever need one. They had a wide and interesting selection of them. The selection of buds was good, but only good. I'm going to guess that they had between 15 and 20 strains in total (buds).

I found "good bud high prices" review below to be sadly right on. I had a good experience after wheeling and dealing for a better price on my "donation", but 65 1/8ths HURT. It IS medication, and you are so right about MJ meds being the "alternative" medication (??!!??) I never thought I would have to go back to the barrio alley to get a better price. It is not just SCPC by any means. It's true. Your money computation for my medications blow my mind!! And not in a good way..haha?
I hear so much about the cash monies around the collectives that make them prime targets for robberies, but sometimes I feel I'm the one getting robbed. Just thinking out loud.

I see your prices are still 65/8th. Not very cool. Your liquid butter is pretty good, so is the emerald and some of the other OGs you have in. Interesting that you'd actually have an original SD Bullrider too, but the prices are uncalled for. Can you really take a look at your menu board and say (even) "we're a semi-compassionate co-op"? I've heard collectives go on about costs, but when you're charging 65/8th, you're just pointing at the places that charge 75/8th and calling yourselves compassionate compared to those crooks. If your vendors are giving you bad prices, demand a better one--should they really be charging you dirty prices. Collectives like this one annoy me. Good medicine but extremely high prices. If its going to be like this, I might as well get back on vics. MMJ was supposed to be the CHEAPER AND SAFER alternative. I smoke 8th every 2 days for chronic and serious pain. If your 8ths are 65 that means ~$2,00 per month, $20,000 per year on "ALTERNATIVE" medication (I could get a ton of vic even without insurance). It costs under $100 to grow a single plant, so tell me how SOMEONE along the line isn't being maniacally greedy? This message isn't only to your collective, but to all ridiculous collectives. THIS is one point at which MMJ loses credibility and legitimacy as a MEDICAL program for SICK (very sick) people.
