After reading the review given by "Weedarita" below we felt like this would give us a chance to clear a few things up. My name is Bryan and I have been a volunteer with Livewell for over 6 months now. It seems "Weedarita" is confused. We do in fact have great daily specials and in fact have not just three but SEVEN different daily specials as well as a recycle program which we ALWAYS honor! It really is simple, you bring 10 of OUR containers and we give you a large pre-roll in return. This is our way of saying thank you to our loyal patients. As for the tax issue we believe that it is our responsiblity as citizens of this community to give back and to help stimulate our struggling economy. It is the law everyone and taxes are just a part of life. We cut no corners here at Livewell and are proud to be part of the medicinal marijuana movement and proud to be serving this community!
Our prices have remained the same since we opened our doors in January and saying that we change them constantly is an absolute LIE! We, in fact are not raising our prices of pre-rolls to $15 but instead have opened another door for people looking for higher quality pre-rolls. All of our pre-rolls are made from our buds. ABSOLUTELY NO SHAKE is used for them. We provide regualr sized joints for $5.44(that includes the tax), extra large joints for $8.16 and when we have an EXCLUSIVE strain we provide our premium pre-rolls for $15.01. All of our pre-rolls weigh at least 1 gram and as heavy as 1.5 grams. If you take a second and do the math on that you would realize that's a pretty good deal! We admit that when pre-rolls are on the shelves that they move fast, but we refuse to just roll up crap and serve them to you to get home and be dissappointed. That's just not how we do things around here.
So "Weedarita"....where exactly did you derail? We question your motive for even writing this review! We have a state of the art facility offering some of the best meds you can find, excellent customer service and safe place to come and get your medicine! You say we aren't here for our patients? Really!? Last time I checked we are here from 11am to 8pm 7 days a week and I always make time to help my patients with questions and/or concerns! We have some doubts as to why you felt it necessary to write your review but you are entitled to your opinion and we respect that. Now you know how we feel. You know who I am so hopefully one day I can change your mind about your experience here at LiveWell. Just do us a favor next time and get your FACTS straight before coming on here and blasting us publicly with false information. Thank you.

Nice club. I have been there many times, daily for a while. The bud quality is good, they usually have a full spectrum from your heavy indicas to the more energetic sativas. I have even seen some hard to find stains there like amnesia ( which was excellent) to vortex. The pricing is confusing and as far as I can tell changes all the time. The stains change all the time too which is a hassle b/c I'll find something I like and go back for more the next day and its gone. They have bud, if you are lookng for pre-rolls good luck because they are usually out. They have good prices though 5 dollars + TAX=5.44 for a pre-rolled but the prices are about to go up to 15$ for a pre-rolled, which I would never pay! They don't have any deals or specials. I tried to save up my joint containers b/c they will give you a free pre-roll if you return 10 containers but after the first time I returned my containers and they realized thats what I was doing so they quit giving me containers for my prerolled J's and just started throwing them in the bag-not fair! And the tax thing totally pisses me off-thats why I quit buying grams there- one day my gram will cost 23$ the next day it might be 25$ + change. Obviously they are not there for the patients.

Having been to this dispensary about 3 times, I feel I can provide an adequate review. This club really does bring the fire when it comes to their strains. The owner (at least I think hes the owner) is always working and he is VERY friendly and down to earth. Not only is he a nice guy but he is very knowledgeable about the strains he has in stock and can tell you pretty much anything you need to know. The location is also prime, located on Fair Drive, in Costa Mesa. Its about a 5 minuet drive from the freeways.

Another different yet convenient aspect of this dispensary was the two different ways you could select your meds. You could do it the traditional way by talking to the tender and asking him to see the samples, or, you could use their touch screen T.V. to select what strains you want and add them to your "cart." One thing to look out for though at this dispensary is the tax. I know I know, just about every patient hates taxs at clubs (so do I) but I dont mind paying it every once in a while, epically when I'm getting quality meds. They cap at $60 1/8ths which in my opinion is reasonable but I would like to see it more around $55 so by the time they add the tax, it comes out to $60. Other than that though, this dispensary is state of the ark and should be checked out by anyone in the area.

On to the fun and exciting part of LiveWell; the strains! The first strain I picked out was a strain grown by the tender:

Purple Urkle:
This strain is usually sold as an indica but it also works as a great anxiety medication for me. With its heavy cerebral sensation it produces after only a couple snaps, is ideal for calming my nerves. It almost feels like your mind is going numb and you all you really want to do is sit down and relax. The scent of this strain was magnificent...VERY strong scent of purps along with a hint of that "Grape Ape" scent that is common in Grape Ape. It had very dark purple leaves along with bright orange hairs covering it. The tricome development was prime and the nug structure was flawless. It burned just right and produced quite a heavy expansion for such a innocent looking strain. It truly was a great smoke and mad props to the tender who grew this beast.

I also had the pleasure of sampling their Bubba:

Bubba Kush:
Having tried over 20 different batches, from different growers, of Bubba Kush, I feel I have a knack for finding good, quality, Bubba. This specific batch of bubba was amazing. It had that very deep musty scent to it with a hint of spice to it. Its effects were tremendous for sleeping and I would suspect anyone with chronic pain would benefit from this strain as well. I only smoke indicas at night if I am having trouble sleeping and after one large snap of this Bubba Kush, I was out like a light. It creates a strong, euphoric, high that puts your in that couch lock state for hours. Its best not to fight it and just give into its euphoria and go to sleep. The nug structure was amazing and burned quite nice. Had a very big "expansion" when inhaled, but much more smooth on the exhale. All in all a great strain grown to perfection.

Not having been to this dispensary in over a month, I am not sure when I will re-visit but I can assure you, I WILL be back. Thanks for the outstanding quality LiveWell and keep bringing in the FIRE!!

i was here earlier today while on my lunch. i was greeted by a pissed of receptionist. but whatevers. she was juss sitting there myspaceing not like she had anything better to do. but the guy behind the counter was real cool. i bought an 8th and they hooked me up with a free 8th of some sativa. the bud quality could be better. i would come back due to convience.and i gave the price a 5 because they gave me a free 8th.

I have to admit that before checking this place out I was a bit reserved in my decision to go here. I have been to a couple of shops in Orange County and the experience alone was enough to send me back to the streets to get what I needed for my pain, but being in my condition that's just not in the cards anymore. I have a horrible back injury and after years of therapy and pain medications I decided to try an alternative. At first I just did what I had to do to get what I needed, but then after all I live in California......why not go get a recommendation from a doctor? So I did....and after showing him my laundry list of meds and X-Rays he did not hesitate in agreeing with me that medicinal marijuana would be a great alternative as I was sick and tired of the empty feeling all these goddamn medications were leaving me with. Long story short I got my recommendation. Then I had to make a decision on where to go.....which wasn't easy. So I tried one in Lake Forest, one in Santa Ana and now two in Costa Mesa. This brings us to my latest choice.....LiveWell Cooperative Caregivers.
As I said above I had tried a few clubs out and was about to give up so I logged onto Weedmaps and did some research. I live in Newport Beach so I found that this place amongst a few others were close to where I lived. I read the reviews and checked out their website. The pics alone of this place got me into it. Cleanliness is KEY for me and after going in to become a member I would have to say that I was thoroughly impressed! I was attended to in a timely and most friendly manner by the girl in the office and after getting approved I was led into their lounge. The atmosphere was inviting, CLEAN and just flat out comfortable! I was already on edge going in there but that didn't last long at all! The gentleman behind the display cases was quick to shake my hand and introduce himself to me and I was obliged to do the same. He welcomed me into the collective and informed me of my rewards as a first time member and that I had come in on a Monday so that meant that I was also going to walk away with a free edible after a minimum donation. Nice!
Marijuana, no matter what the strain focuses me and keeps my mind off the pain of my back so when I discussed my ailments my man Bryan gave me some recommendations, but I know what works....all of them! So I tried a Sativa, a Hybrid and an Indica. I went with the SnowCap, the White Romulan and the Mars OG. Since I got an 1/8th or more I also got a free gram of some Purple OG. I had smoked SnowCap before but this particular batch was amazing! The White Romulan was great and both of the OG's were exactly what I was looking for! After all of my meds were fulfilled Bryan took me over to their interactive touch screen menu and this was seriously the icing on the cake! I'm pretty much technologically challenged as it is but this program was so easy to use! I felt like a kid in a candy store here.....huge variety, great quality and the service was outstanding! Overall, one word to describe this place.......Impressive.
In closing I must say that before checking this place out and once again before I wrote this I looked at the reviews it received. A few really good reviews and then a couple really negative reviews. I suppose that with everything you will get some good and bad but I just didn't understand where the bad came from. Yeah they tax....but guess what.....we have been getting taxed our whole lives. People need to chill out....we live in California...get used to it! To my knowledge not every dispensary is paying taxes which as I understand puts them and their members at great risk of legal enforcement....but I guess what I am trying to get across here is that this place seems to be striving for perfection.....that's what it seems like to me. the bud is good but whats up with the TAXES they have $18 doller grams but after taxes its $20 so not really a good deal just average.they also got weekly specials but only if u buy a 8th....be better if they had 1st time patient deals with minimum purchase and refural programs.this place is good if you live close but not worth the drive for me but again thats my opinion..good luck..

There are acouple things that makes LiveWell a very interesting dispensary (I don't know about the delivery service). But for instance:

1. They tax. And i don't mean tax as in they include it in the price of the weed, OR HAVE TAX THAT THEY ACTUALLY MENTION ON THEIR WEEDMAPS. I mean tax as in, THE BUDTENDER WILL MENTION TAX AS HE'S WEIGHING YOUR WEED. If ya wanna tax, FINE, but fuckin tell people about it on your weedmaps, don't make it seem like I'm buying a $50 1/8th when it's really $55 or whatever. IT MAKES IT SEEM LIKE YOU ARE TRYING TO TRICK PEOPLE, which you are.

2. Bud was dry.

3. Budtender was weighing one of the 1/8ths, which was down to the smaller nugs in the jar and he was trying to fish them out with chopsticks. It was taking forever so I said It's cool if ya just use your hands. And he said that no, this was a better way to collect the weed and that he just wants to waste my time. haha no

So this is the first place i have been to sense doing my "NugPorn Invitational Strain Reviews" and i must say, it was one of the nicest dispensaries I have visited in a LONG time. The thing that impressed me the most about this place was their BUD QUALITY! They had some of the best looking meds i have seen in one place in last year of having my med card.

Their selection was very well organized and very easy to find what you want quickly. They have 3 different glass display counters and are each categorized by the type of strain; Indica, Sativa, and Hybrid. The strains also went in order from left to right on quality/pricing which made my visit much quicker and easier. They also had a hand held magnifying glass with a light so you can scope the trichomes before you buy if you wish.

I picked out about 6 different strains when i was their and they were all top shelf meds. My 3 favorite strains i picked out were: Bubbalicious, Burkle and the Mars OG. The Mars was hands down the best planetary OG I have smoked to date. VERY very potent with one of the best tastes when smoked out of a dry pipe; ideal for insomnia or chronic pain. The Bubbalicious was unlike any hybrid I have ever smoked. I have never seen a more trichy hybrid in my life and the smell was SO potent and musty, it was all around amazing. The Burkle was actually grown by the owner of the dispensary and is a cross of the Bubbalicious and some Purple Urkel he grew in the past. The cross went flawless and effects are amazing. Great euphoric high with mild body high. The Bubbalicious is more of a body high and less of a euphoric when compaired to the Burkle. All in all, 3 of the BEST strains I had the pleasure of trying this last year.

The staff was extremely friendly and was very knowledgeable about their stock. He took his time with me to make sure I had the right meds I was looking for. The girl at the front was also very helpful and very nice. Finding this place is a breeze. Its in a little office building up some stairs at suite L. Finding it took no time at all.

Their prices were actually compassionate in my opinion. Their cap for 1/8th's was $60/$25 grams. Seems a little high at first but when you see the quality, I personally guarantee when you take a look at the Burkle, you will drop $60 with out even thinking twice. And honestly, thats not THAT pricey compared to some Long Beach clinics charging $75 an 1/8th for WAY less quality meds.

All in all, if you are looking for some kick ass meds, you will find the here at LiveWell no doubt.

the order process was easy and deliver was quick/painless. Not sure the girl on the phone knew the product as well as she should but damn it fun to order either way lol. Dense frosty nugs heavy with tons of THC crystals, mmmm so yummy and the pain relief was immidiate. I didn't fel like i was being rapped by the price as with other top-shelves. These guys are the shit!! They have a very wide inventory and the last delivery I got came in just over an hour after I called it in. Cant beat that. Also they have some major talent working over at the store. Worth the trip!!
