I'm quite discriminating and have seen many good dispensaries go bad. That's why I consider Buddha Bar a special collective. They approach dispensing as caregivers, a refreshing departure from most of Weho's commercial bud shoppes.

Of course the good vibes and soft sell would mean nothing if they didn't have serious meds at respectable prices. I walked out of there today feeling I paid a fair price for some of the best Sour OG and OG Kush available in the state. It's sweet and sour and it ripped the top of my skull off! :)

My experience here was one of the best (quality wise). Visited this place (4/18) As one of my early 420 experiences.
Well for me this place was a lil tricky to find, took me two attempts! but im so glade i finally did find it. Im coming from the 405N. traveling down La Cienega Blvd, hade to travel a good 8miles down la cienega from the freeway and the address’s kept getting bigger ..smaller..back bigger, than 8miles in stop and go traffic you under estimate how far you've actually already traveled (the second time around i printed out a map with directions with the cross street! lol duh.) witch is MELROSE. So parking was EZ , got lucky and got a spot right out front, FAILED METER. Walk up to the gate. BUUZZZ. Let in by a nice gentleman , curly hair. entered a nice clean waiting room, handed my paperwork to fill out, was offered something to drink ;). The even have a lil basket @ the verification window with change to feed your meter! How generous!.
Paperwork was simple, Verification was Quick.
Was lead into the back, another nice clean room. Few display cases , jumbo electronic menu screen.

FIRST TIME DEAL: 5g 8th!
The budtender (like another reviewer stated) was VERY soft spoken . Seemed like he hardly knew anything, didn’t know the prices!, and couldn’t recommend anything to me, becuz he didn’t know indicas.
Um okay.
SO I helped myself.. VERY impressed! .. On the quality, he told me the one everyone seems to keep coming back for was the bubba Kush , and the DARK PURPLE afro berry kept catching my eye, so those Where the two I decide to split on.
Bubba Kush: Snoop mentions this strain a lot in his songs (lol) so All I remember is this one was SUPER STRONG heavy heavy , and always puts me down. Sticky lighter green compacted fresh buds. After the first hit, I was blown away with a dizzy head high. The taste is strong chemical kush all the way. And the high last’s 4ever! Beautiful strain.

Afro berry : Mellow indica .. It should be a hybrid, as this high was more chill, relaxing.. Lasted a couple hours. DARK purple tight nuggs, Sticky/crystallized buds.. sweet smell and taste. Great daytime high.
… for the quality of the buds, I only paid 55!! Nothing over 60-65? I believe.. Im 4sure coming back to this one.. Quality vs. Quantity is always a plus. And u get both here (first time). Id say check em out. You’ll be satisfied ;) Keep it pimpin Buddha BAR

I stopped in at this place right at 10:00PM, maybe just a few minutes passed. I can't remember the guys name that was working but he has curly hair and kind of soft spoken but friendly who allowed me to sign up as a new patient and then admitted me to the selection area. I thought it was very cool he allowed me access even though it was closing time. I checked the strains and asked questions, he was very knowledgeable and recommended a lower priced strain that was equally as effective as the one I was initially going to select. He didn't even rush me as I made my selection. Since it was my first time there he gave me a 5gram 1/8th. I also picked up an very heavy and tasty edible, YUM!

The atmosphere is great too! clean and cozy.

Their buds are very good quality.

This is my favorite local spot. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. The mom and pop, warm and cozy atmosphere (I was offered a beverage while I filled out my paperwork... who does that?!) makes it feel more like a pastry shop than a collective. Hash bars are not legal in LA so I'm not sure why everyone is confused by the name here... they're just being clever.

5 gram 1/8 for my first time and I've gotten a free gram and lighter (that'ss a mini bic, not the flimsy shitty ones everyone else offers) for referring some friends. This is a place that definitely appreciates my business and wants return business. I highly recommend you stop by and see for yourself!
