- - As you know, there will be a Primary Election on June 8th. I was looking through my Voter's Guide yesterday, sorting through the various candidates and propositions, figuring out who/what I'll be voting for/against next week and I noticed a name that's recognizable to many MMJ patients in San Diego -- Bonnie Dumanis. For those who aren't familiar with her, she's the local District Attorney whose record includes harassing many of the dispensaries in town. The Voters Guide indicates her name, but there is no opponent listed. Fortunately, there IS a space provided so you can Write-In another name as your choice for D.A.. On Tuesday, I plan to Write-In the name J. Cheever Loophole, since I don't consider Bonnie Dumanis worthy to be elected Dog Catcher - much less, District Attorney! By the way, J. Cheever Loophole is the name of a shyster lawyer that Groucho Marx played in the 1939 film, "At The Circus". Think of this as my little protest against a truly horrible person. If you're in San Diego and you plan to vote on June 8th, I invite you to join me in this little anti-Bonnie Dumanis action!
